I must admit your wedding video was the most gorgeous one I've seen lately, very beautifully edited and well made. You two looked stunning too. The only thing that's a bit shame is that I kept hearing a lot of me, me, me from fleur rather than the mutual couple responses from this video..

PLEASE do an in depth and detail look book/inspiration type video for how you decorated your reception! Tons of fairy lights and mirrors accents is exactly what I want for my wedding, and I would love to see how you tied everything in together!
(I know this was over a year ago but) It's DEFinitley the norm for the bridesmaids to walk before the bride in the U.S. Also, I think it's also the norm for the groom to be facing towards the isle as he waits for his bride
You two are honestly the epitome of what a great relationship should be like. Not only because you're both gorgeous, but because of your relationship with each other. You guys are close to one another but are not obsessed. I see so many couples that forget about their own individual identities and everything becomes "we"...not you guys,
i feel like you and mike got even closer after the wedding - i don't know, it's just that i can somehow feel that crazy amount of love between you guys just from watching the videos! and that makes me so, so happy!

You dont have bridesmaids in Poland. The couple picks a girl and a boy "witness" for their wedding ceremony. Plus both bride and the groom walk down the isle :)

You have no idea how wonderful you have just made me feel fleur! I got married in September last year (in Australia, on the beach) and I was having outer body experiences all day, and I also didn't cry all day either! And I'm normally an emotional person. Thank you for making me feel normal!!
I loved your wedding so much, it was perfect!! And Fleur, I have the same thing with crying.When I argue with someone I start crying afterwards or when I hit my leg or sth, but when I was leaving school, nothing.I felt the cry inside but I didn't come out.Glad I am not alone :D
I am generally not an emotional person, but for some reason your wedding has made me so emotional! Watching I cried during the wedding video, I cried during the picture video, I cried during Joey Graceffa's vlog of the wedding, and when you said that the best man raised a toast to Woofy, my stomach literally dropped and I thought I was going to cry again! I just wasn't expecting that! I just feel like I know you guys and am so happy for you:)
In Australia the bridesmaids go first, with the maid of honour at the end of the procession. The flower girl and ring boy walk down the aisle at the very start too.

and i think in Germany everyone enters the church before the bride. the bride is always the last person.

In America the bride is always the last one into the church so everyone is looking at her, which is why the bridesmaids walk down the isle first. Also in the Catholic Church in USA the bridesmaids don't usually stand on the alter with the couple, they sit in the first row, so they walk down before the bride to make sure everyone else is in their seats and ready to see the bride. Congrats on your wedding Fleur & Mike!
I think it's better not to cry at these happy moments, because they are celebrations not funerals.

Hey Fleur! Lovely video! I'm the same - I didn't cry at all on my wedding day even when people who we have lost were mentioned! I was just too happy all day and couldn't stop smiling. Just like you though, I cry at silly things on a daily basis :)
In Canada the bridesmaids walk before the bride including the flower girl(s) and ring bearer(s). If the bride has a cathedral length veil it can be carried by a junior bridesmaid or it follows the bride on the floor. The dad usually walks the bride up the isle, he is on right and sometimes brides will have their mom on the left.

The wedding photo you said was your favorite is the best wedding photo I have seen! I can't remember where you posted it but when I first saw it I was blown away. I really hope we end up with some pictures like that, its such a well captured moment.

In Ireland its flower girls (if there are any), then bridesmaids then a change of music everyone stands up and then bride!! Thats all the weddings Ive been to anyway!!

wow im exactly like you with the crying thing. in day-to-day life I cry at really little things but with big events I don't!!
In Australia the flower girl walks down, then the bridesmaids then the bride and her father. normally the flower girl with either scatters rose petals or confetti or something for the bride to walk on as in its like a separate walk way

Everyone was completely expecting me to cry during our wedding ceremony in March this year, as I cry in movies all the time and at friends weddings. Yet I didn't cry even when I was walking down the aisle and saw my husband wiping away a tear. Nearly everyone else got all choked up when we were saying our vows (husband included) but for some reason I didn't. I was just too excited, happy and nervous and I guess one of us had to hold it together. Funny how these things work.

Agreed, coming from someone who doesnt talk as much herself -- I am quite happy to have a husband who is more talkative. Not to say it doesnt *sometimes* get annoying, but this is just a regular day to day thing with couples that they should be discussing, and maybe Mike and Fleur have, they seem happy... so :)

In Australia it tends to vary but from what I have seen when bridesmaids go first they go to a different song and are already at the alter (if that's the right name for it) before the bride starts walking down the aisle.
