Playing the 150cc championship with a mate, working together to make sure one of us gets into the top 4 on each race and then hearing this for the first time, amazing!

Remember this is also arguably the hardest track in the game. Just the (narrow) road with a sheer drop directly on either side, no barrier, no shoulder. This could be a nightmare to play on hard. Say what you want about the N64 RR, it is a LOT more laid back: in fact, that one might be the easiest course in the Special Cup. On the one hand, it’s kind of sad they no longer saved the biggest challenge for last, but then again maybe players needed a break. There is a lot to be said for the original RR though
it really goes to show how truely talented and dedicated the musicians at nintendo must be if this actual fucking masterpiece is only your 4th favorite rainbow road theme. also i like your community posts

When they did remakes of this i hated how disgustingly thick they were, i felt like the gap on the widest of the tracks is like 5 karts wide and they always made it 7 or typically more its like i want DIFFICULTY thats the whole point of this map
