Took a German films class and watched this. Probably my favorite of the semester. Even more chilling when you consider the context - a mob dealing "pure" justice in the light of rising fascism. All around great.

Is there any western movies like this ,I'd like to see a realistic depiction of the early 1900's in America since bandits and death were so common,as well as opportunity in towns open to production.

Extremely good movie. The lighting and shots were interesting. People were smoking like chimneys! I wonder if this was a functional thing as well.
