- Here she is! This is our KX500 that will be getting a complete restoration and some modern upgrades to make this old giant perform like never before! It obviously is going to be absolutely beautiful as well!
I now believe this KX500 is a 1998 or 1999 model from the seat cover and the colors. What do you all think we should do for the design of this bike? Keep it retro? Or should we redesign this dinosaur!

@@FULLTHROTTLEFILMZ no problem man! Within the next couple days I get my motor from Tom Morgan. He was Kawasakis factory race mechanic for the 500s. He has several National champions and is considered the guru. You can get a “decompression valve” put on these 500s to make them super easy to start. I also recommend flex bars the absorb a lot of vibration and a magura hydraulic clutch. Lastly the most important is the 1989 kx250 small tank. That’s what everyone rode back in the day. It’s much smaller. They’re hard to find but now a company is making reproductions in another country! Any other questions just ask! Would love to help. Can’t wait for the next parts of the build!
