I can’t stand those fools that want to ride right beside my truck. If I have to make a life or death decision due to an emergency lane change then I’m gonna choose my life over theirs. If they’re gonna pass then they need to get on with it quickly. That’s not a place you wanna hang out at in an emergency situation because we’re not known for fender benders.

The people saying trucks don’t have blind spots need to remember that to see every inch along the side of a semi takes time and a semi driver may not always have that time if someone pulls out or does a bonehead maneuver. I didn’t not break it down frame by frame to see how much time was there but I will say as a truck driver when I am in my car I am not going to hang out in the dead zone and hope the guy spends 30 seconds seeing if I am there

Trucker did not keep signal light on for at least 3 seconds!! Clearly the trucker's fault. You cant just blame it on blind spot when he didnt even attempt to do a full mirror check. You can see he only had the signal light on for 0.5 second before he swapped lanes. You need at leadt 2-3 seconds to give people time to react if they are actually in your blind spot.

It’s actually easy, stay out of the zones beside trucks simply because our tires commonly have 100-110 psi. We didn’t make them and they can blow. Pull up any video on RUclips about what damage a blowing tire can do. Do effing stay beside the truck. Pass or just relax it’s not worth a life.

If you have convex mirrors on your hood you should not have any blind spots except for directly behind your trailer which doesnt matter anyway. Even if you have a blind spot next to your truck you shouldve seen the car creep into the blind spot and not leave it which means they are still next to you. Lets squash this blind spot argument once and for all.
