The battles occurred between the elements of the Red Army's Southwestern Front defending the Southern Bug bridges and the strategic rail road between Odessa and Smolensk, and elements of Panzergruppe 1, during the latter's advance from southern Poland to Crimea.
This was among the large Axis encirclements that were executed against the Red Army in the opening months of Operation Barbarossa.

The One True King has returned...
Yup! - Salute -
Indubitably
He's finally back.!
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
Finally
It’s been a long time since you made these ancient videos of WW2 in Lego.
Glad to hear from you.
Yeah, I was going to say that! I am happy he came back!
This video was better than ever...
thx for sticking around
He just left without any word, and then comes back as if nothing had happened. With an amazing animation that rivals many WWII Stopmotions.
Well, he makes stop motions for a living, you shouldn't be surprised he dissapears after a new upload with the filming process and all lol.
@@AbrahamLincoln4I wish I sort of have his life
I don’t want to be that person but he said some stuff in the community but who would ever check that
It's awesome that he still has all his original figures he used in his older videos
#notall
The amount of patience and passion for WW2 and animation is impressive, you are awesome keep it up
At 10:35 the motif with the trains moving in different directions and both armies realizing they're passing each other is something I have never seen before, and it's kind of brilliant
I wonder if this really happened
@@Landsknecht25 I don't think that such a thing could have happened.1st is the fact that Soviet railways had different width to that of the Germans (Germans planned for that, but it took them 2 weeks to adapt the tracks to their gauges in length of 300 km)nor were they passing so close one to another. Also, who advances the frontline by train (exception being Russian civil war with armoured trains).
@@kaletovhangar soldiers cant walk like 2000 miles without a train, and thats how they transport tanks, they transport them by train thens top it the nearest station and then attack.
@@geter8924 I know about that, but video made it seem like the German infantry was pushing the frontline via train.
@@geter8924they can March 2k miles it’s just not somthing done as often anymore. Not since the Napoleonic wars .
This is why I don’t unsubscribe channels like this that are “dead” because editing this takes time to make and seeing this is always a trophy to watch. Always supporting you all the way. Keep up the good work!
Goddamn right, my friend! This stuff takes months!
You're completely right
thanks bud
@@brictator I have a question, what song is used at the 3:20 mark? Thanks!
As relatively rare as it is, it's really nice to see air battles in stop motion. Good work, man!
The mini city you made to be seen from above in the bomber scenes is one of my favourite little things in this. I also love how you damage the bricks on each hit. Such an incredible animation.
Looks like an amazing stop motion
It is fantastic to see you back again with another video after quite a while. The amount of effort you put into these is simply impressive and inspiring and the results always looks amazing! Definitely Quality over Quantity so give this man an award already and 1 million subscribers. But It's great to see you again.
The man, the myth, the legend has returned. Well done, man as expected. Keep it up, as always!
love ur videos man!
Очень красиво, пугающе и динамично! Это были самые страшные дни! До сих пор не понимаю как наши деды смогли выстоять и не сломаться!
thank you for your help. the ultimate russian victory is more incredible after such unbalanced losses in the early days
Так они поумирали же. А выстояли те, кто не поумирали.
Awesome! Your style is so unique but there's always something new! So creative with the aerial combat, the MG-34s, and the slow-mo action.
thanks dude
Pretty funny, the part when they see eachother on the train
thanks for sticking with it through the nothingness
@@brictator np
I remember watching your videos when I was a much younger child in elementary.
Amazing as always! Great to see you back again.
thanks glad you are around still too
@@brictator thanks mate
I love how many different vehicles are in this film. The lighting is great and your effects are amazing! I love how you do the bullet hole animations and the destruction from explosions are sick. Love your work!
Finally! I’ve always wanted to see a T-34 in one of your stop motion!
Edit:I also loved the reload animation for the MG-34 gun! How’d you do it?

Already know this is going to be another masterpiece.
The legend has returned with an epic WW2 video
Unbelievably good work, the plane dogfights are spectacular, and there is even more tension than ever before. This is the best video you have ever done, at least that is what I think, and your old vids, and now this, are still pretty much the best lego stop-motion videos on the whole platform. Nice job!
I didn't know that I needed this so badly, but I did! Thanks man, I think I speak for everyone when I say, we Misst you. Please continue with your Work!
With best regards from Germany 🇩🇪👍
11:14 did NOT saw that approaching one bit 😂
Awesome film bro. Really enjoyed the immersion!
this video showed perfectly the veterancy of the German troops, as well as the relentlessness of the Soviets during the early stages of the war, great job man
I hope so
Can't believe I've only seen this just now. Amazing work as always. Welcome back to the community dude
thanks I miss the 90s
probably one of the best cold openings ive ever seen. just some dudes goofing around and then "HOLY SHIT LARRY"
This was so unbelievably entertaining and made of such quality, I found myself actually wide-eyed and mouth agape. Amazing.
Nice! I love your stop motions!
When the world needed him most
He returned
Incredibly well put together video, glad to see you hadn’t given up on making stop motions. I also love seeing some of your newer models see some action, the old planes you used were nice, but the newer brick mania planes with the custom printing and such are even cooler. Also that Stuka scene was awesome.
What an amazing creator, truly one of the greats, theres something to the pacing of the animation that entices the viewer, always a pleasure to see your work. Welcome back!
Sucks that since this took so long it won't get many views
CANT WAIT!!!!! You are by far the best animator on earth. You never disappoint me
This looks So cool! I can’t wait for the premiere! 😁 😊 👍
That's beautiful!
I really glad that you finally post a new brickfilm. Great job 👍
Other than being so smooth i would believe this was just animated over stop motion your effects are great. The sound is amazing and honeslty so well done. Great job!
Great to see you back, man!
I think you may have had a little too much fun throwing and dropping everything XD
This is just amazing! It's great to see the king returned.
Everything was amazing about this film, but the aerial scene I found most impressive. I imagine they must have been hard, and the occasional humor, especially near the end was a great touch. Keep it up Brictator
The fast paced yet detailed scenes are amazing! Definitely worth waiting for 🎉🤩
Great video! Did not disappoint, love all the vehicle builds!
Awesome animation! The legend has returned!
I'm so happy to see that you're still making videos. You may be the best animator out there.
This is insane, I especially like the plane dogfights and all the close up macro shots throughout the animation. Well done.
One of the best stop motions I’ve ever seen. Amazing job! My wife even enjoyed this one. The HLL radio is a great touch btw. Keep it up, will love to follow the future of this channel
no way my wife would watch this. maybe when I make the joachim marsailles romcom
I would love to see "behind the scenes" or "making of" videos on this channel (or secondary one) your animations are so impressive i really wonder how you manage to acheive something like this ! Glad to see you back !
this one took 2 tables
Impressive as always. I'm glad you're back.
Love the work you put in, always happy too see a new upload
i like the scene when the germans and soviets are passing each other on the train
That sequence at 9:16 is terrifying! Overall just extremely well done! Most of the armored warfare shown here, I keep thinking about my unit for WWII Reenacting with some of our Sd.kfz's. Obviously no shots are actually fired in reenactments but, sometimes seeing, hearing or "feeling" a enemy armor aim and fire at you, is something I can say is very terrifying! Keep up these awsome videos!
Great to see you are back. Those are the best lego animation I could wish for. Keep going and stay well.
Absolutely loved the stuka scene with the mini village set design, slo mo shots also a nice touch.
He’s back
Yes! He is the best!
The level of animation is simply incredible! A real action-thriller😃😃😃👍 Bravo 👏!
You’re still around! Nice seeing this pop up in my feed after so many years!
YOOOOO LETS FRICKIN GOOOO!!
My God, your stop motions are always so beautiful and smooth, and the explosions and cinematics shots are just so great
I understand that these are the heavy battles of 1941. But damn, why don't the Germans miss and the Russians can't hit point blank? This is just stupid, it seems that the Germans did not have any losses at all.
@@MiG-31893 Yes, at the beginning of 1941, Germany was stronger than any country of the Allies. But I'm talking about
And when the world needed him most, he returned
Such fantastic work you have put in this video. The work looks real good. Thank you for putting this on the internet. Hope to see more.
Man this was too good. Amazing job.
Worth the wait- a masterpiece
Now this is a certified "Return of the King" moment.
i love that you focus on the early war period-1930s interwar designed armour has such a futuristic look to it
Its been so long im really glad you are making videos again.
He's back, and he's back with a new masterpiece
Amazing animation 😮❤
Nice directing. Combination of stop-motion and slowed video caps is really well done.
Thought my eyes were deceiving me , but they didn't. Its so good to have you back legend !
С каждым разом ваши видео все более крутые и эффектные
After watching this cartoon, I realized that in the author's understanding, the T34 85 tank gunners are worse than the imperial stormtroopers from Star Wars...
That is the t-34 with the 76mm gun
I was just rewatching this and noticed the cows had subtitles at 11:14. I actually had to stop and rewatch that part to make sure I saw it correctly. Then I laughed my ass off. Amazing work sir. Thank you.
This is absolutely amazing. 2 years to make which is just amazing. Keep up the work!
A video a year. I love the stop motion man, take your time on the vids, it’s a-ok with me. Quality over quantity!

Well done! The master of Military Lego has returned with another masterpiece of World War 2 life and death battles between the Lego Wehrmacht and Red Army! I swear, I am watching a real cinematic movie! Wunderbar! Love it when the cows get blown up!! The true innocents of this slaughter!

So good to see you back with a vengeance 😃, the animations are better than ever!
Absolutely fantastic
Any LEGO stop-motion battle animation be like:
1st army defending, with machine guns and ABSOLUTELY no tanks.
2nd army attacking with manpower and then with tanks
Finally, THE LEGEND HAS RETURNED!
