OK, I’m back from my nap… I only ride skis, but the snowboard guys are no different than surfers or skaters… we get the chicks in the hot tub, I just bought some nice boots and woolly hats…. Also as a hockey player we land plenty of chicks… Carrie Underwood, the singer just married a guy on the Nashville predators hockey team. FYI, the mullet is still popular in hockey culture.🤙🏼🏆
And actually because of the temperature and never sweating… Snowboarders have the best smelling junk… And it stays kind of cool and chilly down there. So I’ve heard.
I heard that kid Zeke the aerial guy… He’s got some kind of VD. Also, I couldn’t believe Sterling in his sprinter van… Just takes the wetsuit off and let the saltwater run all over the floor… That was different.

As a snowboarder, yes, we do think about surfers in Hawaii. Surfers in Hawaii are the reason that many of us took up snowboarding in the first place - because we live in landlocked frozen hell-holes and it’s the closest we get to surfing. 😭😭😭
I know a place where you can drive a white truck slowly, stand in a parking lot, skate, snowboard, river surf, surf longboards, shortboards and boogie boards…and continue not being particularly good at any of them. Well, I sleep in the back of the truck pretty well. Thanks for another very entertaining episode!
Another fun podcast! About the big wave safety device you mentioned. I would think it is because you can't just suddenly breath up air if you are deep underwater, if you do and don't release that air as you come up, your lungs could explode from the air expansion. (Since the air you inhaled was compressed by the water pressure.)
I’m pretty sure the windsurf skater guy is the son of Kai and Tony Hawk. And of course, I fell asleep… I wake up and Wyatt and and his sister are now running the show.
Lol I thought of the oxygen too - but I was imagining a little oxygen pen that could be worn on a necklace. I was thinking it would be good for a couple breaths to get you back up to the surface. I didn’t think about staying down there and going scuba diving though 😹😹
especially those giant wave vests that you insert canisters in that float/pull you back up - Nazare surfers. If they can make those, you can definitely fashion an oxygen thingamajing?
I watched Laird windsurf skate at Kalama park in Kihei on Maui before the skatepark was there mid 90s on a gravity longboard if anyone remembers that company

Told a guy I hadn't seen in 20yrs his GF was waving him in from surf. He went in and she started beating the shit out of him on the beach. She had answered his phone and it was a girl on phone who said she was his GF. And she left him in parking lot. We called it.... Fight in Rodanthe😂
As a representative of the red truck community I’d like to chime in and say that I am indeed a contractor and working with white truck guys really sucks. Us in the red truck community know da rules and are usually at the beach at the ass crack of dawn to work on our inverted tricks before whatever job we have to get to.
