Wait until you get a copy of Talk Talk’s ‘Spirit of Eden’! Like you I’ve also added a sub to my hifi and Spirit of Eden is incomparable, really, every sonic aspect of it will blow you away. Oh man, his voice. I’m going to listen to it again just as soon as I’ve finished typing this comment. Nice one.
Ken Scott mixes - pf Mahavishnu in particular - and of course, those of Rudy van Gelder - and I do wonder what were the parts of process (pre-1978 or so) that were the same for both gents?
A few i could mention are Wings Band on the Run OG and T Rex Electric Warrior really sound amazing, also early Dire Straits albums, Floyd DSOTM 1977 recut by Harry Moss is very good indeed are as all his 70s HTM recuts of all the Beatles albums including Abbey Road are silky smooth.
Joe Jackson's 'Night & Day' sounds awesome and a fiver everywhere & Rod Stewarts 'Every Picture Tells A Story' with the blue label jumps out of the speakers...and is about 2 pounds everywhere.

There really is something special about those first pressing UK Floyd albums. 😂
Survivor. Caught in the game. Clarity. Tone. If only all records could get recorded like this.
Definitely agree that Closer , Colour Of Spring & Lexicon Of Love all sound phenomenal & all are phenomenal albums. Aural delights.
Thanks David... Always good to hear your opinions

I'm with you on Colour of Spring. It's great both musically and sonically.
Abbey Road HTM UK pressing is great sounding as well and cheap
A shout out for the UK 5th of DSotM cut by Harry Moss, you can still get a good copy for £50

Hi great informative video, on your recommendation I bought the dire straits love over gold brand new £24 . Regards mark
@@6643bear when you say brand new, do you mean a reissue??
Couldn’t disagree with any of these. Many can be picked up cheaply too
Great video! Just subbed to your channel. Original Dire Straits are far better than the Mofi’s which I’m selling off now.
I've heard that the MOFI's are really good, not heard any of them, I'll stick with the OG's I think
So just basically Rock and Pop records….don’t think so.
Not sure if you like The The but all their albums sound phenomenal. Really dynamic and superb soundstage. Can pickup easily and not to pricy.
@@dazaaw got infected ... Great sounding album
