Its not illegal but it get very complicated when you get pulled over or in a accident.
Not really I've been pulled over numerous times in a friends car the cop asked what my relationship was to the person on the insurance I said friend\ boyfriend whatever and that was it. Also crashed a friends car in NJ at least you're covered for other drivers. Only time its an issue is with a rental if you arent listed as a driver...
I think it can be different for every case period lol. It can also depend on state. But either way if you ain’t my husband or family I personally wouldn’t let you drive my car. Its my responsibility whatever happens or is to happen to it.
