- It's not that I don't appreciate when you folks let me know someone has stolen my content, it's just that I won't take action on it.

Good morning, Brad. I see it like this; people who steal your content to make their own, have empty lives. They have absolutely no creativity or willingness to get out, do an honest day's work and create their own content. We live in the era of instant gratification and for some folks, to get up off their lazy backsides is unthinkable. It's much easier for them to sit on their butts all day and take from others. Keep doing what you do, Brother! You can get up in the morning, look in the mirror and see and honest, hard working man. They can't do the same. Have a great day!
Great point
Fakebook and Sh*tTok are what I call "Misinformation Superhighways"
Brad's philosophy on people stealing his videos is akin to major retailers' views on petty theft from their stores.
There are channels out there that show people how to post other people’s content. Always people out there trying to find loopholes and new scam tactics.
just to create more lazy people who don't want to work
I've been watching you for years and I know the difference between the true Copper Creek and the fake pages. You're the absolute best and I've always appreciated the soothing sounds you give to me. It always brings back memories of lazy summer days and Grandma's backyard. Thank you for what you do dear. I'm a fan that appreciates your content. The grass cutting content. The stuff about different equipment is blah blah blah to me 😂😂😂😂. Thank you friend ❤❤❤
I feel you brother! If we post any copyrighted music in our videos, we get a notice right away and face possible shut down and loss of revenue. Seems to be very one-sided against the content creator who puts in the work. And you're right, Facebook doesn't care....we get the same emails back.
Solid perspective
That's such a shame, Brad. I totally agree with your frustration and am also disappointed with the lack of support you've received from FB. There really DOES need to be a swift and 100% effective recourse available for you (and others) who're being robbed. This is absolutely stealing and these lowlifes shouldn't be allowed to benefit (monetarily) from your hard work. Best of luck getting this fixed. I'm totally with you. Cheers from Texas
I reported a couple of the Facebook posts out of curiosity. We'll see what happens.
What’s even worse is when the stolen content gets more views than the original content.
Well, your good work is still being spread to many locations it may not have gotten to otherwise. I'm not advocating theft, or you not being paid for your work. I'm very sorry you are struggling with stress and your time got absorbed. Glad you are working to let it go. Best wishes and thank you for all the good work you have done over the years, and what you will still do in the future.
I totally understand the anger and frustration when you see the thieves' pages. I hate Facebook, I pulled the plug on my account there years ago. I have no experience with TikTok. I think it's going to take an act of Congress to force these companies to do something about content thieves. It's so prevalent, it really is infuriating. Sorry you've had to deal with all this.
Facebook is the worst . Everyone steals my content and uploads it in 4:3 crap quality. People are oblivious that it’s not me posting sadly.
I know the difference & will not watch the fakes. You & your content are great!
That is truly aggravating!!!!
I wouldn’t let it bother ya. Just keep doing you and the real followers will stay loyal. Nice beard btw 💯
Brad I know you’ve mentioned Dos Santos and Ted Cruz as lookalikes but I’m really seeing Sean Strickland 😂
what i'd do is just put my logo in the middle of the video so when they "screen record" & crop the video to hide your logo
they are screwed because its in the middle.
You could wear a hat that has your RUclips on it or something like that? Just put subtle things in your video that can't be blurred out like your polo shirts you could put the RUclips logo and your RUclips name on the front and back or something like that?
These are Judy suggestions to try and help. If anything, use it as a mass marketing opportunity?
Someone stole your hair too.
That's been gone LONG before I started the RUclips channel.
So true
Anyone who upsets Brad is going to a bad place! I am sorry that this is happening to you. Take the higher road Brad. We all aspire to be more like you. Have a happy day!
...I hear you; I listened; I support you wholeheartedly. This is WRONGGG!!! I was sooo afraid you were saying goodbye. I do commiserate and wish nothing but good things for you.

I 100% percent agree Brad. Life is way too short to be running down things like this sucking all your time. It will change who you are! change how you approach your content and is simply not healthy for you and family. Not to mention, it is exhausting!. Your continent is great, I love to watch your videos. They are very informative. I have had people copy my content, and I'm just a tiny channel. But spending my time turning in copyright issues is not the way I want to live. Though I cannot stand a thief but if I respond to all of it then not only are they stealing my video content, They are stealing my time as well for me to copyright them. It's a crazy world we live in!. Where squatter's can move into a house and actually end up owning the house. Crazy world man, love the content.
I make a comment that it is a stolen video. It doesn’t solve the problem, but maybe some people will make a similar comment and they won’t get viewers and thus won’t get money.
I had one person say that the stolen videos were reaction videos…he explained that it was simply to get people’s reactions. I told him it is still theft and there is no justification for stealing another’s videos.
Love the beard
I just select the “do not recommend channel”. There are lots of Asian sounding channels that post network tv videos. RUclips is placing them on my home feed.
Love the beard!!!! wow
It’s laziness that is across our society. No one wants to work. Brad keep your head up & keep grinding. I love your channel. 👍🫡👍
"Bad word* those scammer thieves
On the bright side, you are getting more exposure which may drive people to your legitimate social media pages :)
If i ever see a video from you that isnt from you i alway call that shit out.
I'm not looking forward to this but I kinda am because it would mean I have fans lol 😂
It's a shame
When i see that i report it myself i figure you are to busy
It’s unfortunate, but like you said it’s out of your control. Best to give your energy for more positive things. Think of it as free advertising and move on from there.
I've seen where others jave had their videos stolen and fake pages created.
I'm always looking out for stolen content from the real creators, I've reported to RUclips multiple times of stolen content on SB Mowing/Pressure washing along with a few others, I hate that some idiots will try to make a fast buck by stealing a known creators video/video footage that they worked hard on to share on their channel being stolen by an idiot and making that footage their y, I have confronted one thief on his own channel for video theft and he said he has the right to do what he does (stealing) because the video footage is on the Internet and he has a degree from some college or another, funny thing is, I haven't seen anything else from that channel that I have found to be stolen, and I haven't seen the channel doing any stealing on line
So is there money to be made from stealing Brads videos?
😇😇😇😇😇❤❤❤❤❤
I don't get the point of posting other peoples content. What do they get out of it? Sorry that happens to you. I'd be angry as well.
I'm sorry I have shared your page, I didn't know it would hurt you.
You could ask him if you could share snippets with him credited in the title, beginning, or description.
@@whatchyagonnado I talked with grandson about it and he explained to me that sharing video was not what SB Mowing was talking about
@@rondapuckett5290 That's good :)
Mow a couple more lawns to make up for any profit you make off you tube.. and quit social media and you'll be happier, and have more time with family rather than editing videos👌
I thought once you upload it becomes fair use. Plus when you upload a video and then you make money from it, then if someone re up loads it their views it gets has nothing to do with you.
It's part of the legal concept "copyright", defined as the exclusive legal right, given to an originator or an assignee to print, publish, perform, film, or record literary, artistic, or musical material, and to authorize others to do the same.
Since the other channels have not been authorized, it is illegal. For anything made since 1978, copyright lasts for the lifetime of the creator plus 70 years.
They would also be unlikely to fall under the Fair Use category, since they are being used for commercial content, they are not a work inspired by the original, they use the entire video almost exactly as it was originally posted, and the reposting could be considered as displacing "sales" (views) from the original.
(from www.copyright.gov/fair-use/ )
Fair use requires you to transform it in some way, usually by adding commentary. It doesn't give you license you just steal the video and reupload it.
it's not stolen, it's on the internet. once you publish on the internet everyone has access to rip sound or video and publish as their own. shit happens unless you have some high end lawyers on your side.
Well said, they should private their videos so people will not steal their content
Digging the beard Brad.
