Michael, you are awesome. Paint. You can do this! Paint with Arlo and it will be chaotic and messy and fun! I do my best work with my kids sometimes. They make mre more free to create and try things.
So much fun, love it! I don’t have this new pigment powder but I’m going to try this with very dilute colors and salt and see what happens. I remember a much older LMA salt painting called Into The Storm that I did when I very first started painting with Sarah and loved. It will be interesting to try this and compare to see how far I’ve come. Thanks!
But there are a number of species that exhibit "marcescence", (the retention of their leaves), to some degree through the winter months. That's what you may see when you walk through the forest in the winter. Beech trees and pin oak are common in the Midwest. The oak tree we had retained its leaves until Spring, until new growth pushed them out. Yes! In Missouri, too.

I LOVED doing this one! I’ve been doing your tutorials for years and this is my fave!
Love the scent idea! I’m not sure how it would affect the paint quality or paper, but I do use and enjoy scented fountain pen inks.
It's soooo beautiful 😍

What a fun comparison to do and see all the growth you've had! We hope you enjoy this project as much as you did previously. Happy painting friend!
Nancyenjay7966 I also do not have the pigment powder, I also can not seem to find it anywhere...how did yours come out?
I don’t have the powder either but I do have Brusho so I’ll try that too🤞
If you don’t have pigment powder should I just use my regular watercolors & mix light layers?
Amazing ❤
💖🎨🥰👍🏻✨✨👋🏻👋🏻
I’ve never seen trees with leaves except evergreens (?)
An imaginary forest?
Hey Sarah, where can I get bleed proof white paint?
I have Pearl Ex pigment powders. I wonder if that's the same thing or close enough.
The Pearl Ex pigments inspired us to create our own. You can totally use your Pearl Ex and have the same result. Happy painting!
Is the pigment powder like Brusho? I do have that.
Where I live we don't have leaves on the trees during the winter and I bet you don' t in Missouri as well.

Is there a kit or box available for purchase?
yes, they have it in their website
