I got my first Barry King tool recently, a sharp turn beveler and now I see why people love these tools. The workmanship on this thing is just flawless, highly recommended
Just bought my first Barry King tools after being in the craft almost 2 years. I got 2 different sized steep beveler, a thumbprint, and a slicker. Super excited for my next tooling project to pull these out! Heard so many great things about Barry King tools. The great this about the ordering process is I somehow had my package in my doorstep a day and a half after ordering. That’s some next level customer service!
I’m new of your channel (subscribed today) and leather work. Do you have a video on the 7 floral tools and bevelers to purchase? Also what order to purchase tools if I can’t afford to purchase at one time
Barry King is the best. Don't know how many times I've typed his name. Always the first answer to the tool question.........stamps, mallets, mauls, swivels, etc. BK all the way.
If King's tools were the best, people like Jim Linnell would use them exclusively. Not saying the tools are bad, but you really are just paying for the name. Vintage craftools have been around just as long, and they are still carving out art every day. If you like King's tools and want some, that's great. It's not going to make you better at leather work though. If in days of old, carvers could turn out works of art with nails and bolts they formed themselves, that is the first clue that it's REALLY more about the person running the tool then it is about the tool. Barry's tools are for people who don't mind paying 4-5 times more for a tool that will work the same as one that costs less.
Wonderful tools. His Bevelers alone will make your leather work improve. He has many other tools, all will step up your game. Easily worth the money and made in the USA.

My Grandma Ann Stohlman would be proud!!
I'd love to own a handful of Barry Kings tools. the price excludes it until leather working starts paying off.

The king family here is more famous for hockey! Dave king worked with Wayne Gretzky.
Is Barry King related to the King Ranch family in Texas?
