On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.

The F-15s and J-20s looked like musket line infantry shooting at each other with the F-16 acting as a light infantry skirmisher but all on a larger scale.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Would you be able to do tac view again for big 'furball' missions like this one? Would love to see the grander scope of how things happened since there is a lot of fighter jets we do not see from just your POV. Thanks for the great videos!

I really liked the premise of using the F-16 on the side to stalk and kill the enemy fighters.
Kind of a sniper in the air.
Seems to be playing to the strengths and weaknesses of the fighters used and sort of gives the US an edge seems like.
We do have a large enough AF to do things like that.
Also demonstrates how no matter what anyone says dogfighting is never dead.
You never know when you’re going to have to enter into a merge with another fighter and it seems like there’s going to be a need in the foreseeable future for fourth gen fighters since dogfighting is becoming less of a priority in the designs of modern fighters.
I can’t imagine wanting to put an F-35 into that same scenario unless you’re willing to sacrifice them in the process and given their cost and the cost of the loss of a pilot you would more likely use the stealth to keep him out of the fight rather than force the merge in that scenario

It would be very cool if you could put up a chart with Aircraft that went into combat for each side as well as the losses.

A blown SEAD operation would be fun. Basically just trying to take down as much as they can while also trying to escape fighters and SAMs.

Hey, big Fan of your content. Especially the dogfights. The new cinematic features you implemented are the cherry on top. With these bigger missions, is it possible that you would do one with older, WW2-Era planes? As much as I can enjoy modern fighter jet, I think that these older air battles had something chivalric. So if you would be interested in this idea, I would gladly watch it.

You should try to make a bvr fight between a F35 and a J20, I think that could be a real life scenario
I'm early today so I just wanted to say that regardless of political affiliation I love seeing GS fly new jets and as a wanna be aerosnautical engineer it warms my heart seeing so many different well made machines in combat.

As a HVAA crewmember who's flown at Nellis during large force exercises, the words "Wall of Eagles" never engenders confidence.
Every time we hear 'Wall of Eagles," we know at least one HVAA asset will probably die during the next go.

Proof that the high low mix can still work against stealth enemies. Much more costly, but still viable for at least a few battles.

@@GrowlingSidewinder forgot to ask you a question before but how do you look around you so easily because when I am in a dog fight for example I use my left hand for looking around and my right hand for my joystick but I am right handed so it is quite uncomfortable

Ever wonder about the effectiveness of chaff and flare whilst at super low altitude ( if the jet fires c+f downwards?) As apposed to a jet that has stuff firing atop the Fuselage. ⬆️✅️⤵️❌️

Because it was previously engaged with a bunch of 15's. Sidewinder's whole plan was to use the 15's above him as a distraction to get in close enough to get a couple shots off. He was playing off the other pilots being to focused on other aircraft to pay him enough mind. And it worked. The plane can only do so much for you.
its not real stealth...its reduced visibility for radar..
In real world exercise, both American and Chinese stealth fighters were able to have 0 loses while shooting down multiple traditional jets.

You should make a video like 2(or 3) SU-25's vs a propellor plane of your choice, it might get interesting
Great video, but for a more realisitc and fun case, can you do a fight where both sides don't know the exact model of enemy's aircraft?
You should do some of the "shittier jets" versus each other (i.e. Su-25T Frogfoot vs. A-4E Skyhawk or something like that)

lovely j15 arrive when entire j20 fleet is gone. lol. it should be other way around j15 going in first and trying to close in with f15 whiel j20 sneaking closer for PL15 shots from ranges keeping f15 under pressure.

J20 are much better than any USA fighters TODAY 😢
It's easy for the F-2 to lock on to a J-20 and chase it out of Japanese airspace. So F16 shouldn't have a problem.

Where can you get some of the advanced missiles? Like the hypersonic missiles for example I have seen GS use in other videos?
How can J-20s lose to F-15s?
J-20 should have good stealth, yes we've all heard of the canard argument
but the canards are edge aligned to other control surfaces, which means they present no additional angles of detection.
So the J-20 should be very hard to track by the AMRAAMs.
If the F-15s can jam the j20s, they can bring them in close enough to maybe see them on radar/negate their stealth/engage them.
