I met an Australian young man in Germany while traveling in 2016. He told me He’s in Europe before he starts the Carpentry Course in his Country. I was like oh there’s the course for it?? Coz in my Country(Philippines). I thought that the carpenters are just streets smarts. They just work and learn from the experiences 😂. Now having my own home I really wanna learn and take the course 😊
My son is in India, can he apply and attend your Carpenter's course. Kindly advise. He is a cross player and is already into Carpenter work doing wooden or board props...likes to progress. Please advise me as I am concerned about his career
Great video, it kind of inspired me. I am from Mexico and I must say I am surprised how much Canada emphasizes the importance of skilled trades which is all the way around than in my country. I have zero experience but I am really interested in studying/training for a skilled trade in Canada and, if everything goes well, get a job and stay. Could you give me your honest opinion on this idea? Is it realistic/palusible?
People from around the world study skilled trades at MITT and find jobs in Manitoba. It is absolutely possible and you have an advantage in that your language skills seem solid already. Hope to see you here!
Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology Thanks a lot for the reply! I'm gathering as much information as I can so I can take the right decision. I actually was interested in your carpentry program but, as it only lasts 5 months, an immigration consultant told me that I need to study at least for a full year so I can get a work permit and stay. May I ask about your thoughts on this? Do your 10-month programs count as a full year so I can stay and work?
