Thank you so much for bringing back so many happy memories. We had a great many wonderful times on the Queen Victoria, but all I have now are photos. My dear husband never wanted to cruise because of his experiences on Troop Ships when he was in the Royal Engineers!! However after the first one he was hooked! It is strange, but many passengers ,including ourselves , who have been on the Victoria and the Elizabeth prefer the Victoria, she seems more warm and welcoming. I would love to go on the Victoria again but it is not to be, I am 86, now and alone so thank you so very much, happy cruising!
A wonderful video with great music for the tour. Have only done QM2 (3) and booked on two more in 2022. Now want to do the other Queens. Many Thanks for posting this.
Very enjoyable video Allan, Thanks. We're off on the QV to the Med the week after next so it was lovely to get a preview of what to expect. However, having been on the QE Christmas cruise in Dec 2016 which was fantastic, the QV looks pretty much identical in most respects (especially since its refit). Very much looking forward to it, having only been cruise converts since the QE cruise.
She's a beautiful ship. We've been on her once and the Elizabeth twice. Much prefer the Victoria of the two and have booked two cruises on her next year (Norway in May and Adriatic in Sept). We were late starters to the cruising lark in 2016 and thought we'd hate it. Quite the reverse, we're hooked and love Cunard - the ships, the splendid service and entertainment. Looking forward to a trip on the new one when it's 'launched'.
You will love Queen Victoria. We have been on her many times. We love all the Cunard ships. One of the things we like is Dressing up on formal nights. It is the only time we do it. We have cruised on other cruise lines and once, the people at the next table in the dining restaurant at the evening dinner. Wore the same shorts and tee shirts nearly every time they dined.
Interesting fact! I welded on the bottle smash assembly for the naming ceremony in Southampton. I also got my picture taken with Jimmy saville that day haha Shame they’re made to such a poor spec, not like the QE2 that thing was a beast, high quality work below deck aswell. The QV has a total loss of power when we were sailing it from fincantiari ship yard to Southampton! That and some of the fire mains weren’t even welded fully! Leading to flooding once pressurised 😒

Great video, Q.V is our favourite ship. Just booked for Dec 2018 down to the Canaries.
Lovely video. Sailed on the QE Christmas cruise 2016 and looking forward to sailing to the Med on the QV in a month's time.
Great video. We are on QV next year, so a wonderful pre-view.
We were on the Queen Victoria in November. Lovely ship. Particularly enjoyed the tea dance. QM2 is still my favourite though.
