Damn, seeing this, it bums me out even more that we'll never see MGSP2... the preview was fantastic... almost like another Phantom Pain. You feel it too, don't you?

Hey, hopefully after MGS V Konami will be more lenient with the license.
The will sit on it, make a few HD remakes here and there and of course, Metal Gear Solid mobile game cashcows and Pachinko Machines. Also MGO will running for a while.

Amazing effects, but I didn't like the explosion as an idea though, I thought it was just out of place for MGS. This isn't James Bond, MGS is espionage.
Why did he just blow it up? I just found the whole scene ridiculous and über cliché.
RealationGames From a narrative standpoint, that's because Snake needs to disable that AA site for good in order to cleare a safe route for the evac helicopter. From a style perspective: well, I wouldn't call Metal Gear minimalist when it comes to explosions and action flick attitude^^ ("see you in Hell, Liquid. And that takes care of the cremation")Still, thanks for sharing this, I hope you liked the rest of the short!

I didn't mean to say that explosive action scenes don't fit to Metal Gear. I was just thinking that "badass guy" scene doesn't really fit Solid Snake's character in my opinion.

Dude, that explosion was okay. Because it looked like an explosion and not just a big fireball like every hollywood flick.
Cavolo, però da Kojima sta porcata nn me la sarei mai aspettata.....Porca pupazza avete tanta stoffa ;), e il fatto che vi abbiano tagliato le gambe in questo modo è inaccettabile....
Kojima era dalla nostra parte a dire il vero.
e che è successo dopo?
è successo che alla konami stava sul cazzo kojima, ormai si sà igà, ma già 1-2 anni faprima dell'uscità di ttp se ne parlava, e ora la konami si è ridotta a fare soli pachinko e spin off inutili e dissacranti di metal gear.

The problem with Snake is his mullet isn't there!
I feel you man. We tried to find a decent mullet-shaped wig but we couldn't find any. Federico (who did our wig) did his best with another wig and I think he got a great result considering what he had available.
