My damper has summer and winter positions on it. If it’s in the summer position and I turn on the furnace for heat what happens? I live in Michigan and the weather is unpredictable so according to the weather I’m switching it constantly. My question is does it matter leaving it in a certain position and not worry about loosing heat if it’s in the summer position ?

Awesome video!
Most houses don’t have these. Make a video on how to install one of these as an aftermarket install.
Why would you leave it in the closed position?
Open and closed represents a closed or open return??
Does it matter if It's pointed the right or left side?
Could there be more than one of these. We aren't getting good air into our upstairs bedroom
There's almost always one in every duct run. Depending on how the supply air is run in your house, it might not be accessible.
I'm in a house built the 60s I. Lorain Ohio. And can't. Find someone to tell me how to find what goes where
i ain't got no basement.
Lmao
Not every has has this in fact
most don’t
I don't think I have these I don't see it
it ain't got no gas
Cool. Not all hvac duct work has dampers so cool but doesn't relate to everyone.
