you know what’s so crazy about this scene and the movie is that hubert was so against idea of vinz keeping the gun because he thought it was a stupid idea, and then the same gun led to hubert’s own death :( i wish vinz never kept it
It is not implied that Hubert died, and it doesn’t matter if Vinz keeped the weapon or not, the officer shot him just because Vinz provocated him on the rooftop, if Vinz hasn’t given the gun to Hubert at the end he would have gotten shot anyways, and Hubert would’ve have just came to the conclusion that he already had that hate breeds more hate, but instead, Vinz gets shot without the gun and now the lesson is for Hubert that even when Hatred is a never ending cycle, sometimes you are unable to extract yourself from the cycle, even when you know what’s right
@@elko1860 I mean i agree with the guy's comment about how hate continues but hubert clearly dies because throughout the movie, bullets continualy get taken off the gun's chamber (2 in asterix's house, 1 to start the car, and a couple more.) So yeah, realistically, Hubert had a very small chance that the gun had a bullet ready to fire when he aimed at the cop, tho we hear gunshot coming from the two guns when you listen to the final scene with an headset

I think you may have missed the point of the ending. We don't know who dies, and it doesn't matter, because the hate continues.
