Did they change the music I remember they had to do that in the Gamecube port due to rights issues.
@@kabesilvermaine4768 it was busy and loud where the cabs were set up but I wasn't even paying attention to that to be honest. But the game felt great!

Wheels8504 not trying to be negative at all because I loveeee turtles! but I own the actual full arcade version of this and even playing that with 4 full adults is kind of a squeeze. The idea of pushing 4 people around one of these cracks me up. I will be getting one of those Star Wars units though!

There's stacks of MK and SF arcades at my local Walmart, but I've never been more excited about a 1up arcade than I'm for that beautiful tMNT

Is it going to be at the same scale as their existing cabs though? I've tried them and they seem decent enough but they're just to small for me and my circle of friends to use comfortably.

the ninja turtles cabinet is probably going to be the new go to cabinet for modding into a MAME arcade. it costs less than just buying an empty wooden cabinet. you could upgrade the switches, but other than that its basically ready to go as is and it's by far the cheapest 4 player cabinet on the market.
I wish I had the room for these, oh well time to move out lol.

I have a dedicated x-men 4 player and have tmnt in time and Simpsons PCB that are identical and swap out. Great looking cab this is here tho.
Doesn't really matter any more if it's emulated. Emulation of the old stuff has progressed so much that it's not going to make any difference to the average person (or even above average). It's still the same game code (a copy of the original), just that it's running on digital platform rather then on analog circuitry. Same idea behind digital music these days - copy of the original running on digital, average person isn't going to hear much of any difference, if any, etc.
I won't be able to get that tmnt cab day one but I Definatly see one in my future

Exactly my thoughts on these 1 up cabs. I don't care they're smaller. I don't care it's emulated. I don't care to mod it. I just want to see a replica arcade cab, of the one that was in my local movie theatre, in my game room.
Chris - you should check out that RUclips vid about swapping out the channelers and the 1 pound springs for four pound springs.
It makes the controls arcade perfect. It's a ten buck fix.

I think they're really cool cabs. I own 2 and they feel like the real arcade . The size makes sense for an average home.
Billy i have a question about something you mentiond that i'm sure you have been asked a million times now .... but you said your selling off most of your games to make your movie, does this mean we may get new game chasers epesodes of you guys re collecting your collection ? id totaly love that to be a thing. i know you selling because you gotta do what you gotta do for your passion project, hell even my broke ass put some coin in to see that and i never back nothing lol. anyway just thought id ask if this may be a thing to go back to chasing in the future.
Cool stuff and exciting. As much as i want these i will have to pass on them. I have these on emulation and dont have any room. But im excited for the release and seeing them at friends places.
Looks awesome. Just thankful I bought it along with The Simpsons Arcade Game, X-Men Arcade Game and Scott Pilgrim back in the day for my Xbox 360 on the Arcade store. Just image of Sega did these with their arcade games and arcade versions of Dreamcast game's, PowerStone, House of The Dead 2, ScudRacer !!!

Wow, they're bringing out a Star Wars mini cab? Sounds awesome, I just hope they get the yokes right. The Atari ones were bullet proof, super solid construction and simple electronics. I wonder how the quality of the reproduction yokes is going to turn out.

Street Fight 2 in the arcade was a mono game. That's why there is only a single speaker.

Turtles arcade game is going to be mine :)
The real question will be whether they can get the original music. Konami owns the original games but the music belongs to the original composer due to Japanese laws and he isn't on good terms with Konami. Its why they couldn't use the original music in that 3d remake that came out a few years ago from Ubisoft. I'm interested to see if they managed to pull this off.
I've wanted to play the first TMNT arcade game ever since I bought the NES version. I'm extremely excited about it. I just wish I had the money. Disability income isn't all that great. Maybe sometime in the future.

I get leery of buying one because there are two at my local Walmart and all the paint is off where the joysticks and buttons are. I never see them being played then again I'm not there all the time but if that's any indication of the wear and tear then hmmm. I'd like to buy the turtles one and then get it modded.
That turtles cabinet is iconic, practically most kids I knew in school played that arcade game. I know it's going to sell out quick and $350 ain't that bad you're paying for the licensing and a four player arcade stick it's reasonable compared to an authentic arcade cabinet good lord 1500 used 4100 new, that's insane no wonder you and Jay don't go to arcade auctions anymore.
I have one too, and all the issues you claim to not have, I did have. For that much, i’d prefer to get level up’s design, that at least has a real light up marquee.
Also, it’s not cause they are emulated, it is because they are just not made out of quality materials. This is atgames just for arcades. That is why. While yes, they may be made for you in mind, that doesn’t mean it is a good purchase. Level up does way better work. So that is why I’m going to pass on these myself and just go for the one time purchase of a tmnt machine that can house nearly all arcades I want ever. Period.

i have the street fighter one the joysticks are crap but they sell genuine sanwa sticks on amazon for $30 i upgraded mine and its not hard and not a big deal they are worth it

The Turtles one is gonna sale like mad, I even might get it, and I don't have any, but the games are just fun to play. I wish it came with a bit more games, but, it's ok, Turtles get's all the glory and they deserve it. Just order them online...
The 1Up Arcade cabinets have been wayyy overpiced here in Norway (5000 NOK / $615).
And there's no way I could fork out that much for one. I was damned close to buying a Space Invaders when Toys'R'Us went out of business here around xmas (70$ off closing week).
But oh man.. That TMNT looks absolutely gorgeous. And it actually being the 4-player
version makes me want it sooooo bad. But if the price point is the same or higher than SF2/Space Invaders was overe here, then theres no way I can pick one up :(

I dont think scalping will be an issue cuz the shipping and selling fees u would need to sell these just around 700 just for a profit. Who the hell will pay that.
I hope you're right, but scalping on large things are usually local. But yes, the high cost may be a deterrent
I just wish I could, but no matter how cool these are, I just can't spare that kind of money on one of these. I hear this marking down to near a hundred and I would get most of these though.

The fact that these are emulated is not the issue, its when the emulation is done poorly(Like it is in the previous Arcade1up's) that it becomes a problem.

I know this is off topic and I know you guys are really busy with the game chasers movie which we are all looking forward to but please don't forget to restock the game chasers dvd sets. My wife and I are trying to collect all of the game chasers physically but we were unable to get seasons 2 and 3 before they were sold out a few months ago on bigcartel.com. Even if they won't be restocked soon can you guys please confirm that they will be at some point? We've both sent messages to bigcartel.com starting weeks ago but they still haven't responded. Thank you guys.

I am excited just as much as these two are. I have said on numerous occasions, that if I ever got a real arcade cabinet, the top of list would be TMNT. That said, I really would rather have a full sized cabinet. Or at the very least, they should have made it with a bigger monitor. Galaga and shit like that is fine with one player, but what made turtles arcade amazing was when you played with others. This really isn't going to be possible with this tiny assed thing. Unless people buy it merely for display purposes, I expect bad reviews after it comes out.
