My wife is from Cebu city and we’ve also been looking for properties! I found out why Cebu is so expensive it’s the richest area in the country. I would have thought Manila area or Makati for sure anyways that’s why they charge so much for so little sort of like Southern California but not as developed 😮
Please be aware fellas, that foreigners cannot own land in the public domain. The filipino native can but,with the carnage I've seen with that-you're better taking out a long term lease.
Yes this is true, and beside from taking a long term lease, you can still legally buy and own land if it happens you own a corporation registered in security and exchange commission as it is stated in the section 7 of the article 12 of the 1987 constitution.

or like so many- just have a kid. A Philippine citizen by birth known as "Sangrie". Put it in your kids name, with 2 25 yr leases.- best way by far.
