Thank you so much for posting these!!! loved the Late Night with David Letterman show so very much! It has a special place in my heart. It brought me so much joy and laughter in a very difficult time of my life! God Bless, David and everyone involved with the show.
I was a runner and tennis on public courts is yes troo you you yes yes also an option when the beach was closed, which was also free and then there was the Free buffet at Casa Giardos but you must buy at least one Margarita. Where were you , oh that's right , come to think of it Letterman was Butterflies to o. The very best thing besides watching Dave was raising my boy and that was handed to me. ❤❤❤
yes, I was raising my grandson at the time and I dressed him just like David when he had and occasion to. We called it the Collegiate look. Same thing down South, they wore cordovan loafers called We Gens. My Grandson walked the Catwalk and he was picked by Case vettes. It was a beautiful day and I ask him if he would rather go back home and play with his friends , he said yes. Boys are so cool. .
This was such classic Letterman in the NBC era to do a taped sketch like this one where he visits the house of Pete Fatovich for no reason at all. Completely absurd, silly and without a point. I still miss the old 12:30 show!
I like to watch these old shows until I remember that Dave, for all intents and purposes, was the BIGGEST prick to not only his guests but also his entire staff. You see the band members? Just remember that they not only hated Dave’s guts but feared the hell out of him for the sake of their jobs.
Dave was and still is great. The best to ever do it!

Me too, and I noticed that whenever I went out on a Friday night, nobody looked as good as Letterman so I became an observer. Monkey Business.
Running is cheap , that's why 😊

Oh the good old days. They are missed.
Dave was great before he became everything he mocked once he left his great NBC show.

Quality was one of my objectives when I recorded this 37 years ago
The jokes, the guests, the song, all the show was great that night.

Dave was 40 years old in June 1987.

Danny Deveyeto!?!?! WTF lmao 24:49
Danny Deveyeto was a infamous Danny Devito imposter who made it all the way onto Saturday Night Live
What he said...

Yeah Tom hanks didn’t get the israeli accent down at all lolll but it was a good try!
Tom Hanks is an average actor at the end of the day, but great guest.
