yooo im tired of fasting. why am do i have to restrict myself from feeding and caring for myself for a month. like u kno no food is somewhat okay for me except that my blood sugar would get really bad but no water takes it to another level. Who am I sacrificing myself for? Why do we not practice healthy eating that perscribes caring for oneself and eachother in the best possible way and instead i have to worry about what i eat when i eat if i eat or drink etc. Like the last thing i want to tell my friends and family is "dont worry you got this keep fasting dont eat" like if you need to eat or drink do it because it is what you need. Is this thinking selfish? :/
Calm down. It's only for a month in the whole year. You can stuff your face the other 11 months. If you don't want to fast don't. If you believe in the religion of Islam then you fast. If you don't then don't fast. Simple.
The fasting is to your benefit. A month of self control can be character building if you let it. Or don't. Totally up to you. They were trying to be encouraging, it sounds like. If you were having bad health issues from fasting, like you were diabetic and it's dangerous, you could eat and make certain donations to charity instead. That's a thing. The other guy was right, if you don’t believe in Islam, you don't fast. I mean, you could continue it for self control building, an understanding of your limits, and there are health benefits if you do it right - but religiously there wouldn't be much point if in your heart you are not muslim.
The fasting doesn't benefit Allah, it is for you. "Selfish" in the best way. We are already encouraged to eat healthily and such. Ramadan is focused elsewhere. It pushes you to focus on your spiritual life whereas the months before and after are alot of time to lose sight of it and disconnect. You get just a taste of what it is life for people who don't have food. That blood sugar drop? They get that and don't have easy access to food. Imagine not even having the guarantee of even iftar and suhoor, and you had to navigate life like that. Maybe you can imagine, but living it is different. A shift in how you think about refraining from food etc can change how you feel about the whole thing.
@@ImtiazShams i'll check your history. But is there a video of how you first started feeling atheist? And when you made it more public to to family/friends?
I really struggle to understand the difference between being an ex-Muslim and a former Muslim. My step-son was brought up Muslim, but the first he knew of Ramadan last year was when he received my gift for Eid (like Christmas, we do that). He's just "slipped out" of Islam, without becoming a combative "ex-Muslim". I suppose I slipped out of being Catholic in rather the same way, without drawing up any battle-lines against Christianity. I suppose we are both very privileged in that we live in western Europe, and are not likely to be challenged on our beliefs. But here at least, he finds no problem in describing himself as "of Muslim background" the way I say "culturally Catholic". I welcome anybody's thoughts on the matter, even to be shot down.
@Ibrahim Somali Yes, it does seem to be the case that, as used by these people, "ex-Muslim" simply means "anti-Muslim". Your parallel with American anti-Communism is very apt.
@peter Norman it's not as easy for a lot of Muslims just to "slip away" from Islam the way your step son did. Muslims face being disowned by family, ostracised by the community or even worse if they were to openly eschew from the faith. This is in the west too. Some might have it easy, many don't. If you had the slightest bit of understanding/empathy it would become more apprent to you why videos like these are made.
Lol dont trust what these muslims say. They are rarely impartial towards their religion and will try anything to polish its name. Also former muslims and exmuslims are the same thing just that exmuslims are trying to warn others of the dangerous religion rather than being a passive "former muslim". We must draw the line to what we deem unacceptable. Tell me is people be killed and hunted for leaving islam considered okay? Should exmuslims let muslims lie to other people in order to attract more people considered okay? There's a reason exmuslims dont go public in islamic countries. Think before listening to a muslim.Think hard.
Guys, guys - I don't take any filthy American lobbyist money. Anyone worth their salt knows I'm reptilian funded, most of my funds come from Our Great Leader the Queen, although recently Bonno (sauraus) has thrown in a few bob
It shouldn't be wrong for atheists/agnostics to celebrate religious holidays since most of us do it for the bonding and cultural reasons only. Just like in Northern Europe where most of the people are only culturally celebrating christmas and has long abandoned the harmful dogmas and superstitions.
bro i understand you have a bias against islam but please learn the reason why muslims fast in the first place. it reminds muslims of suffering that many people in the world face, makes us humble and greatful for our blessings and brings us closer allah. fasting is not meant to torture the muslim, sorry some people feel that way. ভালো থাকো 😎
No one forces anyone to fast, pray or anything else. Worship is between you and your creator. You missed the whole point of Ramadan, it is not about hunger or thirst at all. Do more research on it. I LOVE ISLAM😘😘
Allah is god. Muhammad is God’s messenger and the Quran is the word of Allah. Please don’t listen to this man because he is misguiding you. Ramadan is beautiful and looking at everything in islam negative is unfair even if you don’t believe it, Ramadan is good for you health wise, mental wise and spiritual wise.
Ramadan coming soon ramadan is enjoy and best mouth we have I miss ramadan 😍😍😍 ramadan are not hurt but its what people think if you have enough iman you love to fast a year not only mouth
Ramadan is about torturing oneself with thurst while there are 40 degrees of Celsius outside. The time when you fear to open mouth in order not to bother your colleagues with the smell. The time when you must starve during the daylight but be fed up above eyes during the night. In a nutshell, Ramadan is a part of the brainwashing.
This video is for people who secretly don't believe in islam. It is to help them. It is not for muslims. If you are a muslim and have strong iman please do not watch or comment on this video.
Don’t make it feels like you’re being compelled, there’s no compulsion in Islam, if your families forces to do that, that’s in their perspective the best thing for you , in actual fact no one cares whether your mixed or confused emotions
Your biggest argument against Ramadan is being on the edge. That is not a Ramadan issue; no where in the Quran does it say you should be irritable and angry while fasting. In fact, it says quite the opposite; be patient and be sincere.
We live in religious countries with religious families who will not hesitate on killing us just because we don't have the same opinion as them Islam is literally being shoved down everyone's throat and you're asking why are we obsessed? you're the obsessed one here obv
aamena read it in a book ? what if you were born into a different religion you would be mentioning their book ..no ? all religions are mane made fabrications.
That's a thing, but it's better to avoid laughing about it because it's really very serious. He pays for whatever his sins are. That makes me feel somber and reflective.

The video is great but you forgot something.
where's Hurayra?
Im in Croatia! She's poopin' about in London
I appreciate your videos.
Have you had any issues with romantic relationships?
I feel nothing!
(yes - growing up segregated doesn't help)
@@ImtiazShams i'll check your history. But is there a video of how you first started feeling atheist? And when you made it more public to to family/friends?
@@ImtiazShams also do you mind me asking-what do you mean by segregated?
@@bravoalley228 i don't talk about it much, but I'll consider making a video!
Segregated in that men and women are separated from the age of 9
@@ImtiazShams thanks.
I wish you the best with whatever topic you do give next.
Athiest need to have own celebration, all family, children, grandparent, cousin, nephew, friend celebrate"Christmas or Eid"
The point is it should be a personal choice, not something you force, threaten or blackmail people into following.
@@Pr0fane26we agree that it shouldn't be that way, but I'm not so sure that was the point of the video.
ALLAH is MOST MERCIFUL
So why did he choose the most defected person for a prophet? :-D :-D :-D
No. He has no merchy at all if the quran is from that sycopath.
allah is a word in a book, like a "menu".... the "food "is missing .

Your dumb
No one forces anyone to fast, pray or anything else. Worship is between you and your creator. You missed the whole point of Ramadan, it is not about hunger or thirst at all. Do more research on it. I LOVE ISLAM😘😘
Listen to other Ex muslims
THEY FEEL FREE from the cult.
May ALLAH give you guidance and save you from the fire of hell
Unpopular opinion: I'm ex Muslim and I enjoy partaking in Ramadan. Bring you closer to family and friends.
If you are a muslim and have strong iman please do not watch or comment on this video.
so last year
Don’t make it feels like you’re being compelled, there’s no compulsion in Islam, if your families forces to do that, that’s in their perspective the best thing for you , in actual fact no one cares whether your mixed or confused emotions
What would happen if you told your family you were atheist?
What would happen if you told people in Bangladesh or Pakistan you were atheis?
When the day of qiyamah comes upon us, only then you will realize the truth you ex Muslims denied.
Your biggest argument against Ramadan is being on the edge. That is not a Ramadan issue; no where in the Quran does it say you should be irritable and angry while fasting. In fact, it says quite the opposite; be patient and be sincere.
Why are ex Muslims so obsessed with Islam. Islam has left you but you can’t leave Islam.
We live in religious countries with religious families who will not hesitate on killing us just because we don't have the same opinion as them
Islam is literally being shoved down everyone's throat
and you're asking why are we obsessed? you're the obsessed one here obv
I find it quite funny that each time somebody becomes an ex muslim cos of this guy, imtiaz shamz will get their punishment. Hahah
That's not very nice or accepting, is it Aamena?
aamena read it in a book ? what if you were born into a different religion you would be mentioning their book ..no ?

That's a thing, but it's better to avoid laughing about it because it's really very serious. He pays for whatever his sins are. That makes me feel somber and reflective.
It’s funny how they want to leave Islam so bad but they cannot get over it it’s very ironic!
What do you think would happen if you left Islam openly?
Yeah, like your family/community would happily accept you as a Non-Muslim?
Imtiaz Shams nothing will happen only allah will deal with that person on judgement day‼️
