Thank you!! I have had the KA Classic 5 Speed mixer since the mid-90s, & it has been great! I've used it for everything, including bread dough...but mine also climbed the beaters. Never thought about trying to buy dough hooks for mine. I watched a video on the KA 9-speed mixer, & the beaters & whip wobbled so badly that the KA rep's hand shook! Watching your video, looks like the 5-speed is my best bet, & will try to get dough hooks for it. Thanks again!!
Oh god she is so confident and the hand mixer is very powerful and the reason that my hand mixer broke is becuase i use turbo beaters but not dough hooks but not the kitchenaid
Christopher Shannon Awesome, they are both good, useful products for your kitchen :-) Here is the link for the Hand Mixer - amzn.to/1yqV5ac and the Stand Mixer - amzn.to/1gU93sb
Very good review. I don't like the machine though. It bounces which leads me to believe the beaters are a poor design? Also it sounds like it's bogging down with the thicker mixture so it doesn't have much torque. Hmmm... Shame. KitchenAid are usually really good but this seems to struggle? Maybe jist how the video appears though.
That mixers beaters were not meshing properly and kept colliding with each other in 2:00, not just colliding with the metal bowl. Why would a quality company like Kitchen Aid allow this. I will not be buying this particular hand mixer.
I´d like watching you making pizza dough, you made it very nice, and I always take the beaters making dough like this. Nice to let the dough climbing up an use that to kneed and mix it up. You work very carefully, especially at 3:55 and 4:11 giving more flower into the dough....it looked very nice! But notice, that the dough doesn´t climb into the mixer, becuse of the collar preventing that. At the end of work the beaters look like you show at 4:04 for example. I´d try that more often and use beaters to make pizza dough...:-) Very nice!
For those experiencing Hand Mixer Technical Problems, you can use an ELECTRIC DRILL instead. Just insert one of those mixer attachment into the drill bit holder and lock it in place. It will be MORE POWERFUL AND HAS FASTER ROTATION than the hand mixer so you may need an extra pair of hands to hold down the mixing bowl.
Looks like something I might want sometime. Just thinking about whether a bachelor can justify an $80 mixer when I probably would only use it once a year or less. I could buy a lot of cakes from bakery for that price ;)
I have the hand held kitchen aid mixer for about 10 years it is really a good mixer but the Beaters are not good Quality my second set just fell apart I think they should last as long as the mixer!
This is just 170W motor power mixer and beside whipped cream is good for nothing. I just replaced this mixer with different brand that had 350W motor power.
1. The beaters are too short; notice how she's holding the mixed tilted down into the bowl? Just make the beaters a few cm longer! 2. Notice all the dough gathered up at where the beaters go into the mixer. That shouldn't happen. 3. And the beaters appear to wobble quite a lot and clash with each other. What? Not impressed considering that KA is supposed to be the bees knees of mixers.
+bubai Dubai Hi, most people use a stand mixer with the whisk attachment to make butter. You can try with the hand mixer, it'll probably take more effort and time. Hope that helps. Please subscribe if you haven't already :)

Mine is 15 years old runs like a watch, well worth it.

Great review. I bought the 7-speed and I hate the lights on it. I bought it because it has a bit more power but the lights are gimmicky.
Have 3 of these , love them
Sean Young hi, do you know maximum how many egg white it can whisk at a time? Thank you
aren't there dough hook attachments that you can use with this?

I also saw the Review on the KitchenAid Stand Mixer! That was awesome as well!
Christopher Shannon Thanks Christopher, happy that you liked both reviews :-)
How much are they supposed to wobble when spinning? One barely does and one wobbles badly. It's my first time using these and they are brand new.

My only complaint about my last is the welds broke on the beaters, so I only got 2-3 years out of it.
I have this hand mixer. Could you please provide the link to purchase the dough hook accessory in Canada. I am not able to find it.
Hi, great review. Have you used it to whip up egg whites and if so did it take a long time? Thanks!

Did not mention speed she used when showing g nixing of ingredients
It was kinda funny when u lick the beaters to clean them haha
no.1 is really fast and it makes a mess because the mix ingredients always fly because it is so fast
THANKYOUSOMUCH !! :)

I just don’t let it hit the bowl no matter the bowl 😂 the way she did it is why so many people complain they break easy 💀
But I am having 7 speed hand blender
+bubai Dubai It should work with your 7 speed blender.
Your cuuuuute :-)
