      dont think you will have to worry about any of that in this series. Cats sweep and absolutely destroy the Oil. Connor and Leon will be completely shut out and shut down. The PP and PK will be totally exposed, with 3-4 goal spreads. FLA 4-0

    • @dmonsef
      @dmonsef 8 месяцев назад

      @@mjberta7319 Oilers have also played the most games in the playoffs with 18. You have to average out how many even strength goals they score per game and compare that to the other 15 teams that made the playoffs. Also, Avs only went to the 2nd round, so you can't compare to a team that has played less games. That is why you have to go by averages.

    • @mjberta7319

      @dmonsef one game more than the panthers isn't much more

    • @dmonsef
      @dmonsef 8 месяцев назад

      @@mjberta7319 And you have to compare to teams the Oilers/Panthers played, and not the other 8 teams that neither team played. Bottom line, Panthers competition was a lot harder to go through beating the Bolts(just recently played in 3 Cup Finals straight and winning 2 of them), Bruins and Rangers. They played against Vasilevskiy, Swayman and Shesterkin.
      With the Oilers, they went through the mess of a team Kings(Oilers own them 3 straight playoff series now), an overachieving Canucks team that got back in the playoffs after a multitude of years being out of it, and the Stars who seemed to take a big dip after knocking out the reigning Cup Champs(Vegas) and the previous Cup Champs(Avs). Oilers faced goalies, Talbot(washed up), 3rd string and promising Silovs, and the inconsistent in these playoffs Oettinger.
      I commend the Oilers for making it this far, but the odds are against them. They are facing an opponent that is far better than the 3 they beat so far.
      Oilers have the advantage with offense, but Panthers have the better forward depth. Defense goes to the Panthers and so does goaltending. PP obviously goes to the Oilers, but PK I only give the Oilers a slight edge over the Panthers because the Oilers 3 opponents had mostly weak PP units.

    • @mosert82
      @mosert82 8 месяцев назад

    • @odoaceroftheneoromanempire7178
      @odoaceroftheneoromanempire7178 8 месяцев назад +2

      Yeah, pretty much. Bobrovsky has all the pressure. Despite what is being said, Edmonton is quite deep as their depth forwards are great defensively, and their D core easily matches up against Florida when you have players like Bouchard, Ekholm, and Kulak(who is quite underrated imo). Bobrovsky is the better goaltender this series, but I do not see Florida having the edge in every category like people think they do. Edmonton has better special teams and the X-factor on talent. The series will be close.

      @odoaceroftheneoromanempire7178 8 месяцев назад

      @@itsyeboi631 I think you are sort of right, but at the same time if anyone wins this series for their team it will be Bob. McDavid cannot win the cup alone as proven by the last 3 series, but if there is one player that can win a series alone, it will be Bob. The Panthers are not going to blow out the Oilers. The Oilers are just as deep at forward(defensively) and have a D-core that is a pretty decent match despite what people say. Oilers have the x factor on skill and talent too. People say the Panthers are great at 5v5, yet the the top 5 5v5 scorers these playoffs are all Oilers players... The best PP is the Oilers... The best PK is the Oilers... It is not going to be a walk in the park for either team.

      @tkdmike9345 8 месяцев назад +1

      Lol what? The Pressure is clearly on Skinner to face a 2x Vezina winner and this year’s finalist. Bob already beat Vasi, Swayman, and Igor all better goalies than Skinner.
      A couple good games vs Otter is nothing compared to playing those three.

    • @odoaceroftheneoromanempire7178
      @odoaceroftheneoromanempire7178 8 месяцев назад +2

      @@tkdmike9345 No, It's on Bob. Bob needs to cement himself as the best goalie in the league in these finals. He made the finals last year. He is the main reason the Panthers will win the cup if they do. The Oilers will have more than one reason if they win the cup. Bob will absolutely be the main reason the Panthers win the cup. Panthers have depth, but like I said, the top 5 leaders in 5v5 points these playoffs are Oilers players, the best PK is on the Oilers, the best PP is on the Oilers. The Oilers have more firepower than the Panthers and it will be up to Bobrovsky to stifle it.
