Beautiful red truck i saw one identical today hauling a huge! load of hay he was doing 58 till he hit big hill i heard the engine just bellering it slowed him down but he was very heavy it was cool.im in mn but i told my friend about it he lives near there he says ohh that guy ya he has fancy equipment hauls hay..
Good to see you are still at it. Awesome deal for you. What do you think the new ones will average on fuel? Man! 7.4 mpg is really good for a flat top large car. Keep up the great work. You are really exercising the American dream.
I bought my first truck about 6 months ago. I’m dying to get back under a tanker. I pulled sucrose for 5 years as a company driver before my truck purchase. Any advice on where to go lease onto? I live in Arlington Tx. Currently pulling a end dump trailer.
We take owner operators but it's mostly OTR work. But you live in a pretty good area for it too. You can look up Phelps Trucking LLC on Facebook and send us a message and I'll hopefully be of some help to you. As far as tanker outfits outside of the little niche we run in, I really couldn't say, but I'm sure they're out there. Might have to do some digging. Take care.
Yea thats a pretty red truck but your very smart to kick it own down the line if you benefit greatly. Yea the diesel fuel issue is terrible. Our race trailer toter is killing our fun running the drag racine circuit. Makes it hard to really enjoy racing right now
Yeah I know I used to like the 389 Peterbilt and I still do and I like to 379 Peterbilt at one time I've kind of switched over to Kenworth because I just like Kenworth and I don't buy new trucks I just buy the older trucks and the way I've got to shop set up I'll work on them and rebuild the older trucks before I put that new that new free that new e-log book or whatever you call it in the truck I don't believe in that stuff that death stuff's too much and it's too many problems and and I agree if you're on one thing to Cummins is a lot better motor in Detroit 60 series I get them trucks in there with Detroit it's not pull them out and I'll put them to Cummins in 14s in them or caterpillar 3406 or 3406 e model or a C15 or 6th and Z engine and I do like the new X15 to Cummins cuz you can get parts and everybody says it to Cummins and cats so high getting parts I said you can find parts faster for them minions they might be a little pricey here but don't last if I get a truck with a Detroit 60 series just coming out the transmission and all's coming out I don't care what it looks like cuz when I get another like one of my trucks and I rebuild it the engine comes out the Driveline comes out I changed from the rear ends back the one thing about it is I stay with Kenmore Parts I do not put no other parts Peterbilt parts on my truck I stay with the same brand of parts and I hope you like them 389s and I hope they work I hope it works out for you because I know next year is the last year they're going to make the 389 the 2024 is going to start making the 589 I wonder what that's going to look like but I like Peterbilt in the way but I like Kenmore from the way we all got our own opinions you stay safe out on that road and God bless you and keep keep them wheels of turning peace out

Nice looking fld,
Those old Freightliners aren't that bad. Cheaper than payments if you find a good guy to drive it.
Hey fellow, you doing any hiring? 28 years plus experience.
Gentry and sons love those FLD's
Good for you 👍
