The family and I will be calling this area home soon. Well the wife was from Freeport, so it's really just going home for her. It's a wonderful area and through all my visits I still find new things all the time. Wonderful city and area.

Lake Jackson Historical Museum. The arts & Sciences complex, with Brazosport Museum of Natural Science, Center Stages (live performance plays), the Clarion (musical performances). Lake Jackson Recreation Center complex. Many parks, ballparks, tennis courts, soccer fields ... Brazoswood High School. And you really didn't show the neighborhoods. Surfside Beach is 20 minutes away. Current population 27.9K, median age 33.6, median household income $81.2K.

Not in lake Jackson but you’re very close to Freeport, Surf Side and Galveston Texas for beaches
Surfside Beach is close by - 20 minute drive.
