Working on the homestead "to do" list this week! Finishing up some much needed touches to our DIY chicken coop & beginning our pasture fencing! We pick up our new flock of sheep in 1 week & we can't wait! We're adding sheep to our homestead for dairy & meat. Sheep milk is DELICIOUS, can't wait to share the adventure with you. You're doing such a great job showing the kids how to work around the homestead. They're gaining skills that will help them all their lives.
Both the boys are growing so fast and Kellen (sp?) seems much more confident in himself. Your homestead is really coming along!

One of my favorite times of the day is watching your new video. Seeing Kellen give Parker a ride in the wheelbarrow and doing a pretty good job at it! I've seen grown man not do that good! Watching them both ride the bikes, made me think of who they are imagining who they are, or the imaginary adventure their on. Them working together to get them logs upto the tree house is good experience. For when I get older. Y'all stay safe

That t-post driver...we have used hundreds of times. It took one time for it to get off balance and wham right into my husband's head. He was extremely lucky the Doctor said he did have a mild concusion.
When we shared this with a few other farmers we know...we were shocked how many had to have stitches, had concussions etc. All it takes is one time. Usually your arms are getting weak and it tips back...wham. He now will wear a hard hat or his welding helmet. ..lol

What a great idea to use the kennel as the run for the chicken coop. Nice and safe from predators and peace of mind for you all too. The roosters are turning into handsome dudes. I just love watching all of your pets interacting with your daily activities. Looking forward to seeing the sheep come, as I find this milking sheep an interesting topic.
