Great video bud, i have the same issue with Ali, I always find having a decent down slope of about 3 seconds allows you to pulse the button near the end of the run. Keep up the great videos and awesome work.
Best true to life welding content on RUclips.
Great video and a cool idea looks the part. Always look forward to the videos 👍👍
i use a similar tig torch without a foot-pedal, less hassle for me when working on bigger parts.
when i weld alu i use a 2.5sec upslope and a 3.5sec downslope and just blast it for tacking and in the beginning of the weld, then i gradually let go/push as the heat builds up. works great for me.
if you push the button each time you add filler it turns out real nice and you dont overheat it.
takes some practice but eventually you can just set the machine to 180-220 amps and basically tack and weld without ever having to adjust the amps. and you dont need to kick the pedal around. you should also invest in some tig fingers from jody at welding tips and tricks, having a place to prop is like the ultimate cheatcode, theyre cheap and lasts a long time.
thanks for all the great vids and knowledge youve provided me. cheers.
Not bad at all. Almost gotta have a foot pedal to make things more consistent. Next time, take the time to clean all the weld area with a stainless brush and wipe with acetone. Scotchbrite and acetone for the filler.
Bullard Abrasives makes a flap disc for aluminum called NETGRIND that works amazingly, doesn't clog up like regular flaps and lasts a good amount of time if you stay off the sharp corners.
Great video..nive seen you as a father...wish you the best...
You should have used your new Kempi pulse MIG welder - welds Ali great - much quicker
Yeah, but Tig is more fun and less Smokey!
Nothing wrong with that job m8 I weld aluminum all the time and your work is spot on I would be happy with that top job m8 👍 all the best have a good Xmas 🎄
I use tallow as well cuts so much quicker as well
Very nice work. And a big hello to your boy. My nightmare would be to build this off site, then find out it won't quite fit on installation day. Leaving clearance, as you did, seems wise.
Nice job 😉
Looks like a good little band saw that what brand is it
Nice trade hack to get it done .... Nothing is Perfict ... only perfectly imperfect chap .... Ya Little Man Has to come First ... Nice One For The Video Chap...
peace
What’s the brand of you bandsaw?
Pausing the vid zooming in and reading ... it says FEMI XL on the band saw ;)
peace
Dont worry we all call it ali
