I noticed that the Stop Request sign is longer than the old one from the previous MCI's. No Clever Device? And wow, you can barely hear the bell for the stop request.

Are those the same parcel racks as the J4500? If so thats awesome. Im glad to see MCI finally put redesigned parcel racks on the D series coach. Im sure any future D4505s Greyhound gets will have these same parcel racks. I knew eventually the D Series would have the J Series style parcel racks since I know the MC9 in the late 80s came with the A Series parcel racks and so did the MC12.
Don't bet on it. Greyhound driver here. Future buses will be Van Hool's, unfortunately. The newer MCI's D4505 86500+, they're keeping in the West. It's really stupid.

The 161 and the 190 are two buses that still uses the old MCI buses that I know of.

They might be. They are wider and longer from what I saw.

I know there are still other companies getting the d4505 and they may want the enclosed parcel racks. And the same with the x345.
This bus looks like the new buses Houston got in 2014, except the seats are different.

No jake brake but have a transmission retarder that comes on as soon as you take your foot off the gas. Its pretty strong.
I have not rode on a njt bus in ages prob since the old jersey cruiser ones I live in woodbridge so if I go to nyc I take the train
