Could you tell me the exact site your referring to that you used to get your practice test for the exam that you were able to print out and keep taking. There are so many, and I am not seeing the one you can purchase for only $20.
Thank you this video was so helpful! I studied for about two weeks. I took the free practice test three times, studied the four components, and studied lots of Quizlet's. I took the test today and my unofficial score was 182 and I was surprised but so happy! my program requires 164. What's the highest score you can get?

Not every state requires the Praxis. I'm considering moving from NY to NC. For NC, they require the Praxis. I will take the exam in NY and they will be able to request my score ?

What score did you get ? Was your unofficial score much different from the official score ?
I received a 167 (my program requires a 156) so idk if I can celebrate yet lol.
My unofficial score was the same exact score I ended up receiving when they posted it. So I say celebrate! You passed it :-)

When you register for a test date with praxis, there should be an option for you request access to your 90 day subscription practice test
Passing score depends more on your state than your program.

how long did it take for you to get your results from the test?
I recieved my unofficial scores right after I completed the test and then a couple of weeks later my official scores. It was the same scores as my unofficial.
I am from India and i have completed my Master's in psychology last year and planning to continue my study and profession there ... I want to know if i want to work in U.S. as a school counselor would i have to follow similar process .... Or are there some other rules or courses for international students to fulfill the criteria ? Please guide me through ...
Hi. I am an international student in the US and yes we have to follow the same process to become licensed professional school counselors. However, many states mandate that the name of the masters degree must say “school counseling “ so the fact that you have a masters in psychology I’m not sure how that would work in some states.
i forgot to also mention that perhaps you could be a school psychologist. So you should check out what the requirements are to become a psychologist in the US. Thereafter, you would be able to decide whether you want to work at a school, hospital, clinic, or private practice. Hope this helps.

What subjects are on the exam?
There's four sections for the professional school counselor exam: Foundations, Delivery of Service, Management, and Accountability and Effectiveness!
Out of 120 questions on the exam, how many would you say you need to get correct to pass? My program is requiring a score of 156 out of 200 to pass. That's about 95 out of 120 I believe?

April Lumps i bought the praxis exam on ets for $20, used a quizlet and reviewed the ASCA model book 3rd edition
How hard was it?
To me it wasn’t a hard test. It had a lot of delivery of service questions for sure. You just have to make sure you you apply the knowledge, give yourself enough time to study and you will be fine.
