    Y'all are so sweet! Thanks for making this vid I'm halfway through my grad program and want to start prepping ASAP. I am a massive procrastinator when things are intimidating.

    I like the study guide from medical SLPs on teachers pay teachers for $20! That, some practice questions, and learning how to take the test (time management skills etc) is what I would recommend.

    Hello! I have recently just switched to communications sciences and disorders and I will be starting my junior year in undergrad this August! With that being said I am beginning to think about grad school more and how to prepare, as well as becoming an SLPA. Your videos have helped tremendously with easing the anxiety of a new beginning! Could you explain what outside tests would help on undergrad/grad school/job applications if there are any (maybe GRE, ACT, SAT, etc...), and if so what they entail? Thank you ladies so much!!

      That’s really exciting!! We’re glad we can help! As far as test you will need to take GRE to get into grad school! None of the other tests matter. But I would look at the requirements of each of the schools you are applying to. Jobs will tell you if they require a test but usually it’s only needed for schools

    Hi!! im an undergrad communication science disorders student and want to get my masters in SLP and was wondering how i could manage a job and college as a masters student and if i cant how im able to make money for my apartment, myself, etc.. also while studying. do i just take a loan or??

      Hi! This is different for each person. Some people can handle having a job and doing school at the same time, some can’t! Taking out a loan can be a good option depending on the person and your circumstances. Applying for scholarships and financial aid is also a good option. 😊

    also is the praxis exam only based on the things u took as a masters graduate or even all the things u studied as an undergrad getting ur bachelors???

    • @PediatricSpeechPals
      @PediatricSpeechPals  Год назад

      Technically both! It’s a comprehensive exam so material you learn in graduate school is building upon your base knowledge from undergrad.

    You have to pass the praxis and also do a thesis? How long is this program?
