why don't you glue the fuselage inside the angle of the stabiliser ?? it would be easier an stronger

What kind of wood is the fuselage made from? Balsa wood or bass wood?

I am building a catapult glider and need to know if there is a rule as to where to put the hook for the rubber in regards to the CG ? is it better close to the nose or closer to the CG ?
