It's fascinating how Moon and Nexus took the same path but in opposite directions. Moon started out hating Sun and wanting to hurt and trap him, thinking he was nothing more than a weak idiot. But then he grew to love him and want to keep him safe. Nexus began wanting to help Sun, back when he and Earth tried to hard to make Sun laugh or comfort him, and then he began to resent Sun, and it all devolved until he was the one calling Sun a weak moron and wanting him to suffer.
Dark Sun, you make me so mad. Also, what’s with this victim blaming bullcrap towards Sun? Sun does makes choices. He just usually chooses mercy. He chooses to speak up rather than remain silent. He chooses to take time to pull back and look after himself *while* also choosing to not stop caring. They just are not the choices Dark Sun approved of. And Nex blaming Sun for not making choices is pretty rich, considering how much Nex himself felt he didn’t have a choice in his early life. And when he did do what he felt was making his own choices, he made the worse possible ones.

I notice the only times he was inactive with decisions was in the early days, and when Nexus started spending more time with Solar. It’s still not a lot of world-changing choice making compared to other characters like Moon, which may be what Sunset (my name for Dark Sun) doesn’t want. After all, he says he wants what’s “best for Sun,” whatever plans he has in store. Can’t wait to start theorizing.
He did make a decision when killing the first Bloodmoon, but that was before Nexus' time (since New Moon/Nexus being created was a direct consequence of Sun's attempt to kill Eclipse after killing Bloodmoon).
@Gamer_catz Exactly. The fallout of that reckless choice was Moon dying, so he overcompensated by not wanting to make a choice at all. Although, I wonder if Nexus descent into madness and evil reminded Sun of that dark point in his life, as an example of what Sun potentially could have become.

I'm VERY worried for how Sun is gonna be once this is all over. Imagine finally getting to celebrate Halloween for the first time in two years, only to end up having to choose which of your brothers gets to die
Man New Moon was my favorite character and to see where he ended up is so sad. Nexus was such an interesting character and it sucks to see him go but at this point it was a mercy kill. He was akin to a rabid dog that had to be put down for his sake
Sun absolutely made the right decision. As painful as it was to witness, he will be in much more peace and happiness overall this way. Nexus was way too far gone to be redeemed, and he was more cancerous than a member of the family to him, to the others, at that point... Besides, if Sun hadn't done it, Taurus would have, or Gemini, or whatever higher power. Point is, Sun made the right choice for himself and for the family. And I can only hope for brighter days after the Rez/dark star/celestial business is dealt with as well.
It's a shame that Nexus had to go like this. If only he realized he was in control when he was part of the Celestial family. He was being manipulated by Dark Sun and he couldn't see that.
I know. I had it in my head that when Nexus said Solar still hopes to fix him, I thought Solar could, but this happened. After all Solar did so much for them so did Nexus they both did. Everyone deserves a second chance he just wanted to be his own person but he was treated like og Moon.
I really hoped they both could live nexus did so much for them in the past so did moon. If both could survive maybe a nexus redemption arc. Eclipse got an redemption arc but nexus could still fix his mistakes right?
I really want one last scene with nexus were he realises all he did wrong and kinda reverts back to his old self. For the angst. Like he still dies, probably has dark sun there talking to him. I want to see him breakdown realising all he lost.

Sun killed Nexus.....his disowned brother. More entertainment for us, more trauma for Sun and the family I guess. When Sun meet the other half of him, I was thinking maybe that was either the old and original Eclipse or Dark Sun. At least Nexus won't cause anymore harm to anyone now.

Honestly, i didn't want either of them to die. Like previous statements say, I know nexus was evil, but he was an amazing antagonist throughout this, and i don't want moon to die, he just came back after almost two years of being gone.
Even after all this... I still don't understand Dark Sun's goal here. What does he mean by gathering data from one of the Moons dying and _expunging_ it everywhere? If forcing Sun to make a decision was his goal, what was even the purpose of the Wither Dragon?

Well, he died like he came into the word; abrupt. It's been real, Nexus, but you go the way of BloodMoon, and no one will miss you.... this you. They'll miss New Moon, though. However, part of me thinks we might see him ONE last time.... as Dark Sun gets his final words to him before he does him in, by feeding him to the dragon, or whatever means of making him gone for good.
I don't care what anyone says, Sun made the right decision. Nexus, right to the bitter end, was spitting hate and cruelty toward someone who actually was *scared* to have to choose between him and Moon. Everyone, the countdown begins! Why do I have a feeling there's going to be some kind of twist to this that we're not expecting? Edit: Poor Sun, that's the second person he's killed intentionally, first Bloodmoon and now Nexus, hes going to be having this trauma all over again. Hopefully Goliath died in the fight with the dragon, cause if he did kill the dragon, then he would adapt after the fight and be indestructible and that wouldn't work for story since Goliath wants to kill them and he would be indestructible.
I think it's because Dark Sun doesn't like Moons, because they usually end up killing Suns. Dark Sun said that Nexus was one of them in an episode before

It's like three different textures. 7:22 At times like these that I sometimes feel that sun would be so much better off if he actually did get the chance to just reset like Moon and everyone else; he has so much trauma dumped onto him and put him in tough decisions, he's but still the only one who hasn't died, but everyone is always going after him to dump more trauma on him because of the fact that he is so protected.

Listen as much as Sun made the right choice by killing Nexus, it was just horrible for him to be put in such a position. I feel so bad for Sun, he was completely speechless and shell shocked. When it finally hits, it's probably gonna be real messy. I know Nexus was for the most part completely hated (totally understandable) I am gonna miss his character rip my favourite mess

He didn't want to do it... I think deep down Sun did still love and care about Nexus, but no matter what they said would have saved him fro himself. I wish there was a way to save him. Find a backup maybe and build him his own body. Give them the time to be able to treat him like his own person. If he gave them the chance, he would see that they still cared about and loved him. He had a mental break and was never able to recover enough from it to apologize.

I love and adore Moon, and was so happy so see him get spared. It's good that Nexus dies. But he was Sun's former brother. And he most likely feels just as much pain and grief as when he reset Moon.

Oh my gosh, my heart just shattered after this episode 💔💔💔💜💔💔💔 I still love the character new moon/nexus as their arc was amazing to watch. But im kinda glad the Nexus era is over, it was hurting Solar and Sun deeply and Moon getting attacked was hard to watch. Watching Nexus be this creul especially to Solar was just gut renching and hurtful. And poor Sun, put in that position knowing he partially still cared for Nexus, just want to hug them both so bad. I now hope Nexus will still sometimes be remembered as the decent person he was before Solars passing and Dark Suns appearance. Great story writing though, hats off to the cast. I hope Sun, Moon and Solar get to heal and move on holding onto the precious happy memories moving forward with the help of the family and not let this trauma take over them, they've been through so much. Time for some self love and care. Looking forward to the next part of the story 😊💜 xxx

Having to choose between both moons was hard...he made the right decision but..at a cost. Thankfully the BEST possible Outcome just happened; Nexus has been dealt with[GOOD RIDDANCE]; and Sun Saved his Brother Who he once shared a body with[Sun NEVER shared a body with NEXUS] and the Moon who regrets how he used to treat him; and is TRYING HIS ABSOLUTE HARDEST to be the BEST possible Brother that he can be to Sun; and We can see that he TRULY means it; and Moon TRULY has come a LONG way from how he was at the VERY beginning of the show!!

It is not often that I feel the need to speak up. Davis and Reed did well, and I hope they have a restful night after this whole event. It was pure torture to be unable to stand beside Sun and Solar, to comfort Sun in his distress, and to rebuke the poisonous words dripping from the voice of the lost soul that is Nexus. Despite what everyone may say and what Nexus has said and done, I believe that there is still good inside Nexus. Buried and lost deep beneath the corruption, he just needs to be found. No one is too far from redemption and forgiveness, it may just take more trials and time for some to get there than others. We have seen such change in Kill Code and Eclipse, however brief or slow that may be. While Sun made a choice in the end, it may yet be an unforeseen third option that may produce interesting results. There is always another option, no matter how impossible it may seem. And Sun and Moon usually seem to find that hidden option time and again, so let us hope that is the case at least one more time, just to really show Dark Sun how wrong he is about Sun and Moon. Sun is so brave and so much stronger than he realizes, even with everything he has gone through, and I hope that someone helps him to see that fact. Proof lies in how desperately Sun wished not to kill or even admit to hating either Moon even after the things they put him through respectively, holding onto what made him 'Sun' even as he begged to not have to choose. This negates Dark Sun's statement that every Sun hates his Moon, and shows just how much Sun loves his brothers. I hope Moon is able to recognize that, and tell his brother before it is too late. I am so proud of Sun and Moon for helping eachother despite their fear, and Solar as well for how he supported them as a brother should. I wish with all my heart to be able to give Sun, Moon, and their family hugs and comforting words of wisdom. And whatever happens in the end, I pray that everyone may find peace with it.

You weren't good, but you didn't start bad You tried to be a good brother, and in a lot of ways they did you wrong But in the end they tried to help you, but you didn't want it anymore Try and rest now..as your *own* person ..... Sappy stuff aside I wanna see if they'll play on Solars trauma cause we know they'll explore on Sun's but like- Dude almost got his neck snapped, he was *accepting* dying again even with fear in voice, not just dying but dying at the hands of a person I'm pretty sure he feels responsible for creating since his initial Death kinda kickstarted everything Im *very* excited to see whats next
ITS ABOUT TO GO DOWN I have so many things to say oh my god I KNEW those 4 gaming eps were adding up to something big Not to mention this is the THIRD part AND it’s a premiered episode??? Holy-
Strap in people. Or dont idc. Early on Sun made a choice to go kill Eclipse after Bloodmoons first death and because of that he had to deal with the guilt and pain of losing the brother hes known all his life. I think, because of that outcome, Sun made another decision. A choice to be kind even to those who dont deserve it because not only was he afraid of hurting a brand new brother and sister, but because he was, deep down, afraid of being like Moon and Eclipse. He was scared of not caring when people died. Scared that hed be willing to hurt people to get his way. Scared that another decision like either of those two would have made would have the same terrible, guilt ridden consequences that wanting to be useful for once did for him and his brother. So, Sun stopped making choices. Even if just a little. He let Nexus and Solar take over problems with Ruin and Bloodmoon. He let Earth take the lead on helping Lunar and Monty deal with the Stitchwraith with Foxy and Puppet, not him. He went back to (kind of) being the useless person he once was because that meant he couldnt mess things up again. He couldnt hurt anyone again. Then Solar died and Nexus began to lose his mind. He chose to try and help Nexus by talking to him with Earth. He chose to tell him what he probably viewed as a terrible secret, that Sun loved him more than the Old Moon because he was BETTER than the old. He chose to try and capture him so he could either find a way to help him or make sure the one he now called brother couldnt hurt anyone else. He chose not to kill Nexus when Puppet asked because he couldnt stand to live with that GUILT again. He couldnt stand purposefully killing someone he cared about when it hurt him so much to do it by accident. So he didnt choose then. Sun made so many choices even just in the time from when Nexus first woke up to this moment here. He chose to love him even if it meant looking into the face of the person he killed. He chose to trust Nexus and his plan to ask Solar for help back when he was just another Eclipse. He chose to show him star power and chose to trust his new plan to shove their enemy into the portal with a power he shouldn’t have wielded. Hell he even chose to let Nexus grieve so HE could go tell Earth and Lunar that Solar had been killed. Sun chose to love the brother who would choose to hurt him later. He chose to trust the OG Moon again but with changes. He chose to trust Moon when he offered the mana pool in order to protect himself and those he loves. Sun makes choices all the time. Theyre not big, grandiose ones that immediately further some plot or another. Theyre not the choices Nexus or Dark Sun would make. But after feeling like he killed his brother the first time, do you really blame him for that? Sun chose to see the good in his brothers beause BOTH hurt him and BOTH were kind to him and BOTH loved him at one point or another and BOTH WERE HIS, even if OG hated him at first and Nexus chose Solar over him. He loved them even if he hated them deep down for all theyve done, before and after reset. But where OG chose to grab his redemption with both hands and run with it, Nexus chose to fling the family he had, free and devoted and so, so willing to help him carry any and all burdens, and hit them away with a baseball bat because HE chose wrong. Because HE chose to be worse than the person he promised to be better than. I think Sun chose right because Nexus was never going to change back. He was never going to quit. I wish Nexus had chosen his family. I wish even if he had chosen to not be a Moon anymore that he had chosen to love them and fight for them. For Sun, the first person he ever saw. The first person he cared about without really knowing why. I wish he hadnt made Sun make so many choices. Im just so sorry that of all the choices Sun has had to make in his life, this one had to be one. Right or wrong, hes going to miss his brother.

Nexus/evil moon is long gone. No hope to keep him alive cause he won’t stop at nothing to get the wither shard from sun. You pick the right choice sun by killing him, he won’t be a problem no more and everyone can rest easily now (till the next bad guy to ruined everything again).

It's fascinating how Moon and Nexus took the same path but in opposite directions. Moon started out hating Sun and wanting to hurt and trap him, thinking he was nothing more than a weak idiot. But then he grew to love him and want to keep him safe. Nexus began wanting to help Sun, back when he and Earth tried to hard to make Sun laugh or comfort him, and then he began to resent Sun, and it all devolved until he was the one calling Sun a weak moron and wanting him to suffer.

Also, what’s with this victim blaming bullcrap towards Sun? Sun does makes choices. He just usually chooses mercy. He chooses to speak up rather than remain silent. He chooses to take time to pull back and look after himself *while* also choosing to not stop caring.
They just are not the choices Dark Sun approved of. And Nex blaming Sun for not making choices is pretty rich, considering how much Nex himself felt he didn’t have a choice in his early life. And when he did do what he felt was making his own choices, he made the worse possible ones.

Man New Moon was my favorite character and to see where he ended up is so sad. Nexus was such an interesting character and it sucks to see him go but at this point it was a mercy kill. He was akin to a rabid dog that had to be put down for his sake

Sun absolutely made the right decision. As painful as it was to witness, he will be in much more peace and happiness overall this way. Nexus was way too far gone to be redeemed, and he was more cancerous than a member of the family to him, to the others, at that point... Besides, if Sun hadn't done it, Taurus would have, or Gemini, or whatever higher power.
Point is, Sun made the right choice for himself and for the family. And I can only hope for brighter days after the Rez/dark star/celestial business is dealt with as well.

Honestly, i didn't want either of them to die. Like previous statements say, I know nexus was evil, but he was an amazing antagonist throughout this, and i don't want moon to die, he just came back after almost two years of being gone.
Even after all this... I still don't understand Dark Sun's goal here. What does he mean by gathering data from one of the Moons dying and _expunging_ it everywhere? If forcing Sun to make a decision was his goal, what was even the purpose of the Wither Dragon?

Edit: Poor Sun, that's the second person he's killed intentionally, first Bloodmoon and now Nexus, hes going to be having this trauma all over again. Hopefully Goliath died in the fight with the dragon, cause if he did kill the dragon, then he would adapt after the fight and be indestructible and that wouldn't work for story since Goliath wants to kill them and he would be indestructible.

He didn't want to do it... I think deep down Sun did still love and care about Nexus, but no matter what they said would have saved him fro himself. I wish there was a way to save him. Find a backup maybe and build him his own body. Give them the time to be able to treat him like his own person. If he gave them the chance, he would see that they still cared about and loved him. He had a mental break and was never able to recover enough from it to apologize.

Oh my gosh, my heart just shattered after this episode 💔💔💔💜💔💔💔 I still love the character new moon/nexus as their arc was amazing to watch. But im kinda glad the Nexus era is over, it was hurting Solar and Sun deeply and Moon getting attacked was hard to watch. Watching Nexus be this creul especially to Solar was just gut renching and hurtful. And poor Sun, put in that position knowing he partially still cared for Nexus, just want to hug them both so bad. I now hope Nexus will still sometimes be remembered as the decent person he was before Solars passing and Dark Suns appearance. Great story writing though, hats off to the cast. I hope Sun, Moon and Solar get to heal and move on holding onto the precious happy memories moving forward with the help of the family and not let this trauma take over them, they've been through so much. Time for some self love and care. Looking forward to the next part of the story 😊💜 xxx

Jesus christ on a pike this episode was roughh to watch...though, I feel like the next episode is gonna result in sun having a well deserved Breakdown, cuz out of every character there...he needs it the most. Having to choose between both moons was hard...he made the right decision but..at a cost. He still cared, deep down for nexus...and we'd seen him fighting with that in past videos.. god i hope sun's gonna be ok...

Nexus has been dealt with[GOOD RIDDANCE]; and Sun Saved his Brother Who he once shared a body with[Sun NEVER shared a body with NEXUS] and the Moon who regrets how he used to treat him; and is TRYING HIS ABSOLUTE HARDEST to be the BEST possible Brother that he can be to Sun; and We can see that he TRULY means it; and Moon TRULY has come a LONG way from how he was at the VERY beginning of the show!!

It is not often that I feel the need to speak up. Davis and Reed did well, and I hope they have a restful night after this whole event.
It was pure torture to be unable to stand beside Sun and Solar, to comfort Sun in his distress, and to rebuke the poisonous words dripping from the voice of the lost soul that is Nexus. Despite what everyone may say and what Nexus has said and done, I believe that there is still good inside Nexus. Buried and lost deep beneath the corruption, he just needs to be found. No one is too far from redemption and forgiveness, it may just take more trials and time for some to get there than others. We have seen such change in Kill Code and Eclipse, however brief or slow that may be.
While Sun made a choice in the end, it may yet be an unforeseen third option that may produce interesting results. There is always another option, no matter how impossible it may seem. And Sun and Moon usually seem to find that hidden option time and again, so let us hope that is the case at least one more time, just to really show Dark Sun how wrong he is about Sun and Moon.
Sun is so brave and so much stronger than he realizes, even with everything he has gone through, and I hope that someone helps him to see that fact. Proof lies in how desperately Sun wished not to kill or even admit to hating either Moon even after the things they put him through respectively, holding onto what made him 'Sun' even as he begged to not have to choose. This negates Dark Sun's statement that every Sun hates his Moon, and shows just how much Sun loves his brothers. I hope Moon is able to recognize that, and tell his brother before it is too late. I am so proud of Sun and Moon for helping eachother despite their fear, and Solar as well for how he supported them as a brother should. I wish with all my heart to be able to give Sun, Moon, and their family hugs and comforting words of wisdom.
And whatever happens in the end, I pray that everyone may find peace with it.

Early on Sun made a choice to go kill Eclipse after Bloodmoons first death and because of that he had to deal with the guilt and pain of losing the brother hes known all his life. I think, because of that outcome, Sun made another decision. A choice to be kind even to those who dont deserve it because not only was he afraid of hurting a brand new brother and sister, but because he was, deep down, afraid of being like Moon and Eclipse. He was scared of not caring when people died. Scared that hed be willing to hurt people to get his way. Scared that another decision like either of those two would have made would have the same terrible, guilt ridden consequences that wanting to be useful for once did for him and his brother.
So, Sun stopped making choices. Even if just a little. He let Nexus and Solar take over problems with Ruin and Bloodmoon. He let Earth take the lead on helping Lunar and Monty deal with the Stitchwraith with Foxy and Puppet, not him. He went back to (kind of) being the useless person he once was because that meant he couldnt mess things up again. He couldnt hurt anyone again.
Then Solar died and Nexus began to lose his mind.
He chose to try and help Nexus by talking to him with Earth. He chose to tell him what he probably viewed as a terrible secret, that Sun loved him more than the Old Moon because he was BETTER than the old. He chose to try and capture him so he could either find a way to help him or make sure the one he now called brother couldnt hurt anyone else.
He chose not to kill Nexus when Puppet asked because he couldnt stand to live with that GUILT again. He couldnt stand purposefully killing someone he cared about when it hurt him so much to do it by accident. So he didnt choose then.
Sun made so many choices even just in the time from when Nexus first woke up to this moment here. He chose to love him even if it meant looking into the face of the person he killed. He chose to trust Nexus and his plan to ask Solar for help back when he was just another Eclipse. He chose to show him star power and chose to trust his new plan to shove their enemy into the portal with a power he shouldn’t have wielded. Hell he even chose to let Nexus grieve so HE could go tell Earth and Lunar that Solar had been killed.
Sun chose to love the brother who would choose to hurt him later.
He chose to trust the OG Moon again but with changes. He chose to trust Moon when he offered the mana pool in order to protect himself and those he loves.
Sun makes choices all the time. Theyre not big, grandiose ones that immediately further some plot or another. Theyre not the choices Nexus or Dark Sun would make. But after feeling like he killed his brother the first time, do you really blame him for that?
Sun chose to see the good in his brothers beause BOTH hurt him and BOTH were kind to him and BOTH loved him at one point or another and BOTH WERE HIS, even if OG hated him at first and Nexus chose Solar over him. He loved them even if he hated them deep down for all theyve done, before and after reset.
But where OG chose to grab his redemption with both hands and run with it, Nexus chose to fling the family he had, free and devoted and so, so willing to help him carry any and all burdens, and hit them away with a baseball bat because HE chose wrong. Because HE chose to be worse than the person he promised to be better than.
I think Sun chose right because Nexus was never going to change back. He was never going to quit. I wish Nexus had chosen his family. I wish even if he had chosen to not be a Moon anymore that he had chosen to love them and fight for them. For Sun, the first person he ever saw. The first person he cared about without really knowing why. I wish he hadnt made Sun make so many choices.
Im just so sorry that of all the choices Sun has had to make in his life, this one had to be one.
