Matt good video but what about the DMCA penalty? I got falsely hit on 4000 links and I successfully recovered it via counter notification on google (they re-instated all my links) but my penalty still stands a week later. There’s only one article about the DMCA penalty from 2012 and no other seo guy knows about it.

Are you sure about the info/comm ratio? For me it makes more sense that's lack of trust/topical authority if you write only best of/vs/review type of content. Maybe you have to do the same strategy to recover either ways. But maybe the reason is different.
Only for pure AI content that hasn’t been edited or cleaned up otherwise even badly written articles written by humans will be hammered. Google has no way to know if AI content is AI content.

The tools do not leave secret markers in there, there is not html tagging, there’s nothing but badly written content that could have been written by an AI or perhaps someone with bad English language skills. What’s your proof to support that google can detect AI content?

you mention duplicate content... but lets face it there are 100's of thousands of pages all talking about the same topic... how can you not be copying existing content to some degree?

I've been hit by most of these penalties in the past 10 years. Penguin was especially painful. Since then my hat turned to a lighter colour (grey) ;)
