As part of his routine prepping for a match, Fury sometimes runs 6 miles up a mountain, as much to test his mental strength as his physical strength.
Fury hits the jump rope hard, doing all types of fast footwork combinations. He also does battle ropes.
Fury spends hours every day shadowboxing, cardio, lifting weights and sparring. He does multiple sessions at the gym each day.
Fury’s coaches have him lift heavy and do compound strength routines farther out from a match. As he approaches a bout, he’ll switch to lighter weights and work on explosiveness.

@@user-gq3jr4qg3h I don't think you are understanding me. Tyson Fury is THE heavyweight champion of the world because he is the LINEAL World Heavyweight Champion. Lineal, meaning he beat the man who beat the man. There is only one lineal champion.
To your point, I would definitely pick Fury to beat Usyk, but it wouldn't be easy. Usyk would be the most talented man with whom Fury would ever share the ring. I would pick Fury by decision in a difficult fight.
I could see Usyk winning 3 out of the first 4 rounds before Fury made the necessary adjustments to go on to win the fight. It is the fight that I want to see. The two top heavyweights, both undefeated and in or near their primes.
I wish I could train 1 day with fury, just a train a long day, ALL of the exercises he is doing. like in a team or group all together.

@L R The similarity is apparent and I really can't help if you can't or choose not to see it. Holmes was his idol, the way Fury jabs and keeps his left arm in his opponent's face, the way he bounces, dances around and uses his forearms to unleash those right hands from the hip not just the shoulder, his overall subtlety and feints to create openings is what Holmes was also famous for. Sugar Hill, Lennox Lewis, David Haye, Claressa Shields, Bob Arum and many others said that he's like a white Holmes or Ali in terms of movement. No one ever said that he was on their level though, its about optics.
