You do no running water into the sewer drain is actually illegal but obviously doesn't bother me but the city can get you for that just wanted to let you know that
Harbor freight sell a utility pump which can pump water down to 1/4 inch. It can pump 1600 gallons of water in an hour, and cost $60. If you have a very large pool, say 18 feet diameter, 52 inch tall, which hold about 7,000 gallon of water, it can drain the whole pool in less than 4 and half hours. I have a very small above ground pool which hold only up to 550 gallons of water, and use a 12V transfer pump to drain water to a toilet instead as the street drain as it is a little far. It works like a charm, but does need babysitting at the last inch. I have not tried the utility pump yet but it should be better for a larger pool.
Oh wow!! Thank you so much for this video. I can't believe it was this easy. I was in a mess trying to get the last few inches of water out of my pool!
Sorry I didn't film removing the hose from the faucet. After you turn it on for a min or two then just remove the hose from the faucet or spigot then the water will drain out.
@@JacobKnightRiderShop Yes sir this is the part you clearly forgot to mention at all!!! Most important part!! but now i get it thank you. a siphoned hose!!!
@@JacobKnightRiderShop so u cant siphon into something higher can you?? it has to be lower ? if for example i wanted to keep the water and put into a container
God bless you, man! I was stressing on how to drain my pool all week. This video helped me immensely. Can't believe I didn't think of filling the hose up at the faucet to start the siphon. Once again, thank you. If I could buy you a beer, I would.

Hi, so is it legal to drain chlorinated water into a city storm drain?
Yes. Chlorine is also in tap water.
@@JacobKnightRiderShop thanks
Thank you !.
Cheers guys.
Thank you too!
What end do you kink?
Kink the hose where you disconnect it from the faucet or spigot.
How is the water pressured out?
It's ok. But will take a day or two to fully drain your pool.
Reverse pressured i guess you can call it from when you turn the hose on from the house
