It's easy to like a bag. It's harder to say that you don't like it. I feel that being honest is the most important part of these reviews. I agree completely that it's okay to not like a bag.
Lol! My original goal was to do one a week. However, I have plenty of bags to review and I've had the time to do more. I would love to be able to continue putting out at least 2 a week but I won't guarantee that!
I agree that the fast side melts in the hole. The slow side does hang up some for me. I wonder how this bag would play with a faster slow side material.
@@MikesBags will do. They're available for $99 plus shipping. Hopefully it doesn't take too long, but I'll let you know for sure. Are you going to get a set at some point, or are you over anything butter related?
Doesn’t sound like the butter bag is what I’m looking for. I love my lucky bags snipers. Which I am a fast side thrower. Relatively new to Cornhole. Could you recommend a few bags that would track a little bit faster with control, then the fast side of a sniper. Thanks!
Love the bag reviews! I have been trying to find some feedback on the black sheep baggers OG2's. I love their Costellos, and it's the only set of bags I have spent $100 on. I like reynolds pro advantages and typhoons; plus they are reasonably priced. Ultras are definitely out for me just on pricing alone. Secondary market is ridiculous too. Cheers
@@MikesBags we all think different. That’s why the cornhole game is so special. Now I won’t lie. I wouldn’t and haven’t thrown them when picked for air mail contest. Cause u are right. If they hit the board. They are flying. Just last night the government shot one down
I have a set of these bags in the wild slide colorway. I agree that there are really good black bag they do that exceptionally. I somewhat disagree with the fast side push. It is super fast for sure and you can almost throw your normal bag on the fast side and in my opinion the speed is controllable in the bag just pushes really hard because it's fast. You just don't need to throw the fast side with less Arc which most folks do on a push bag. These are my wife's go to bag and she throws pretty aggressively. She has just learn not to throw the collect fast bag as hard as she made with any other bag and is having great success with it. The slow side does slow down and humid conditions to the point where it just plops on the board which does make it frustrating and not great on humid conditions. For those types of conditions we move to the vapor are which cuts the humidity really well.
You definitely need a softer throw for these. My normal throw is too hard for the fast side. I have to ease up when I flip them over and that's a hard thing to do. These are just not a bag for everyone. Have you had a chance to throw the Viper-Bs yet? Just curious of your thoughts on how the two bags compare.
Couple of thoughts... I played the butter in a blind draw this week. Conditions are outdoors hot/humid, as we don't have many indoor options around my area. To date, the Butter is my favorite bag I have ever thrown. I made MANY more in the hole with the butter than any other bag. I probably added 1-2 points on my PPR for those rounds. You definitely need a high arc to avoid overshooting the board, but once you get accustomed to that, its "easy" to control. My throw tends to vary on most bags (sometimes too hard, sometimes too shallow) and the butter allows for those variances by still sliding up the board even on very short throws. Every other bag I own would stop at level 1 or 2 and this bag continues all the way into the hole. As for push bags... I can see where you could overpower the blocker, but for me I still landed short of the blocker and the pusher just picked up everything along the way. It did cleanup really well for me and that's not my best shot by far. If I could choose, I would pick this fast side cloth and a 5/6 slow side. Definitely going to get some butters when I can find some that aren't overpriced on the aftermarket. :/ Would love to know if anyone else makes a bag with this slick side cloth. It's totally unique and feels like silk/velvet for sure.
Afterthought... After the blind draw round 1, I was partnered with someone throwing Scenario Cat3's. My scores got substantially lower throwing those bags even on the fast side. Everything I threw was stopping short of the hole. May have been a residual condition after throwing the butters, but I would have paid to use those Butters again for round 2. ha!
The Cat 3 slow side is going to stick in humid conditions. The Butter fast side does play excellent on sticky boards. However, in those conditions, the slow side is too slow. I also would like to see the Butter with a faster slow side to it. For me, I throw better when I can throw a little harder. When I have to ease up, I become a little more inconsistent. I think that's why this bag doesn't fit me very well.
@@MikesBags Understand your issue with accuracy... mine is opposite. Faster = less accurate. Still wondering if there is *anything else* out there with the butter slick side fabric? I can't seem to find any.
I'm not aware of any other bag that does but I can't believe this is the only bag to use that material. There is probably a smaller company out there that uses it. If I come across it, I'll let you know.
@Jeffrey Clements hello, the Mufasa bag from Strive cornhole I believe has the same fast side. It is a pretty floppy bag so doesn't compare identical to the Butters bag. The slow side is a 5-6 sure fire style material. The slow side is not very hole friendly when it's humid. But for $65 comp stamped, it's not a bad deal. I still like the Pro Snipers better. Lol
Hey mike. What fast bag would you recommend that is fuller or has a smaller template. That is good for someone that doesn’t have a perfectly flat bag ?
The Swag Bag Ruby would be my first recommendation. The Shadow that I recently reviewed also fits that criteria. Buffalo Boards Ambush is a smaller template, fast bag but they are a bit more expensive.
Great review! Too many RUclipsr's seen to love every bag they review. I like to see the honesty here. It's okay to not like a bag.

Thanks Mike, nice to know we can count on you for unbiased reviews!

One of my favorite bags. Feels great and it melts in the hole like butter. Also a bag that doesn’t need to be broken in when bought new.

Your commentary is very compelling. Great work.
Good job Mike, I was going to buy a set of these but I wanted to see your review first. Thanks for the money saved
Glad I could help.
Nice review! I had a set and felt the same way. You seemed to throw them pretty well!
That can be a little misleading. I did cut out some of the bad rounds. 😁
Thanks for another great review.

Best bag on face of the earth
We will have to disagree on this.

They do look thicker but they don't feel thicker. It may just be the material that makes them appear that way.
The Buffalo Boards M1 fast side is the same. It never slows down and hops, skips etc
I have not thrown the M1s yet.

I definitely would rather my Viper B’s over the butters
