Awesome video, Great comparison. Would you be kind enough to make a short video, {when you have the time}, to show us the rig setup you use when diving to check the bottom of your two boats? I can't hold my breath long enough using a snorkel, it would be very much appreciated. Keep up the great videos, I learned a lot from you, thank you.
Hi Capt. Tom another great video enjoyed all of them. Florida has great weather and beautiful areas but the water is not. I am spoiled with fresh water. wonder can you stand under your boats? to do this cleaning anyways stay safe alk in Michigan
I do a lot of projects myself. Just thinking how to scrub the bottom of that boat. You are scrubbing, which pushes you away from the boat. Do ya have to keep the diving fins flapping hard to keep pressure on the boat? I’m finishing up on a Different kinda project. 15 ft fiberglass canoe, 40 years old, 1/2 buried in mud/shrubs. 2 days cleaning….its in solid shape. Now: sanded, epoxy resin and painted. It has a 55 lb trolling motor. I removed the top and ran power to a 40 amp rheostat to the center of the boat to control speed. An actuator connected to the motor turns it via a wired hand held reverse actuator. 100ah lithium battery. I’m mounting 350-400 watts of solar on it. I’ll point yall to a RUclips video when I finish. Heck, I might name it…USS- who the heck wants to paddle 🤣😂⚓️. Jerry rigging at his finest.
Good job! It’s shallow enough where I can touch bottom when working under the boat in most spots. The neutral buoyancy I have with weights keeps me where I need to be for the most part. I don’t even have flippers on. Just water shoes.
@@stew8834 yes we do. Here is our Boatsetter link to book a charter. We do have the boats up for sale so their time is quickly expiring with us. www.boatsetter.com/users/tkllc

@@AdventuresofHappyOurs Great, thank you for getting back with me.
Watching the past few dives, I'm not sold on the hull shield product. Interesting to see the updates though.
Thanks for the update, was that total growth for months without monthly brushing? Thats really good. They both looked amazing for being in that water!
Yes about 2.5 months of growth. I was pleased with the bottom paint but not the running gears stuff.
I also saw what Gus did! Your next boat will love it!!
Prop Glide, will take care of the running gear and propeller .Check it out.
I was going to try that next after Gus from In Too Deep recommended it.

I can stand or kneel under boat to work on it close to dock but it gets about 12’ deep in center of canal.

226-312! 👍🏻
Is there anything you can put on to keep the junk from sticking?
It was painted with anti foul paint but it doesn’t work well on underwater metal.
@@AdventuresofHappyOurs that stinks. Do you do tours?

Do you ever see any dolphins or manatees when you are in the canal? Or any other sea creatures
Lots of fish but never anything that big when diving in canal thankfully. I would have a heart attack. 😂
Used to make an ablative paint for metal and outboards that came in a spray can?
I put it on earlier in the year. Doesn’t work.
With any luck you will not have to check the bottoms of the boats again in the water, because they will be sold
Air pump =😢
Slow down your breathing.
Id say those r well maintained boats
