- 🔴 "Mănăstirea Oasa este o mănăstire ortodoxă situată pe valea râului Sebeș, la poalele Munților Șureanu, în apropiere de lacul de acumulare Oașa.
În anul 1943, scriitorii Ioan Pop și Mihail Sadoveanu au ridicat pe Valea Frumoasei o bisericuță din lemn. Această biserică a fost strămutată pe actualul amplasament în 1983, odată cu amenajarea lacului de acumulare construit pe Valea Frumoasei (barajul Oașa). Mai târziu, biserica a fost reparată prin grija preotului Petru Șora, din comuna Șugag.
Biserica Mănăstirii Oașa este construită din lemn, fiind ridicată pe o fundație de piatră, în formă de cruce. Biserica are o singură turlă și este acoperită cu șindrilă. Biserica de lemn a Mănăstirii Oașa a fost pictată, în frescă, între anii 1985-1986, de către pictorul Liviu Dumbravă din Gura Humorului."
