I'm thinking to bring some rope, tie it off to the bridge, and attach some heavy-duty wire and a big hook to the end of it. Maybe put a crevelle on it to get that shark. Even if it breaks free, I'll probably not stick around to chase every fish you catch. Lol

Great video Chad. My son and I go every month and hit different bridges. Any recommendations on dealing with snagged lines? Also what size weights and hook types do you recommend? We use 3 oz and 2/0 offset hooks for Carolina rigs.
3oz is gonna get you snagged all the time!

Why do you place the chum on the pilon and how far into the bridge do you go? Been fishing those bridges for years and can't catch a break ever.

I pick the bridge based on what bait I have and what the tide is going to be for that day. For example if I arrive at 7 am and it is outgoing tide, I know which bridges don't produce well on outgoing, so I wont go to those. My best advice is to go out and put in the work and take notes, and you'll be successful!

The question is, how do you find them? lol I, for some reason, always seem to be in the wrong place or bridge at the wrong time lol I'll be down middle of June & it would be awesome to be able to find some yellow Jack's 🤙🏼🎣
Move around until you find them. Now I have learned over time, how long to stay on a spot before moving on.
How heavy are the jacks? What line should I be using? New to fishing.

I do use a Carolina rig for snapper but sometimes I don’t. What I don’t do is pre rig before I get there because I have to look in the water and make a determination. That’s the key!

How much shrimp do you usually buy and which bridge it this I’m pretty sure I know cause I go with marlin sometimes
Also you should invest in a shark set up if you hook the sharks that are messin with you it usually scares em off for a while
@@SoFlo.Sebastian I’ve hooked the shark or two on purpose to have them go away but I lost 0 fish to sharks that day so there was no need.

Key with live pin fish and forozen shrimp and chum. Caught mostly parrot fish and angel fish and a puffer

@@Chadgonefishing what GoPro is good enough while being the cheapest model? What I mean really is what is can I rock a gopro 6 or GoPro 7 for the bridge? I am currently using a AKASO ek7000 as a starter camera. I just stated learning on how to edit and until I get a part time job, I’m not able to put a lot of money into a brand new GoPro.
