When I started working as a Japanese embroidery craftsman,
I had the opportunity to see a practice cloth embroidered by an old craftsman.
I remember that the detailed and careful embroidery was so beautiful that I couldn't believe it was practice.
After that, I also made embroidery practice a routine.
The design is based on "Japanese designs and pictures that have been loved for a long time".

家紋刺繍の5回目は「左金輪巴」です。
巴を知恵の輪のように絡めたおもしろい図案です。
いつもカットしてしまいがちな、「糸を撚る」工程をなるべくカットせずに動画を作りました。
私が日本刺繍に魅せられたきっかけが"自分で糸を作る"という職人技がかっこよく感じたからでした。
糸撚りも奥深くて、まだまだ上手にできないこともあるのですが、皆さまに見ていただきたくて動画にしてみました🐢
家紋の完成まで楽しんでいただけたらうれしいです。

撚り糸を使うとまた違った雰囲気で素敵ですね。

It looks beautiful! I'm someone who loves hand crafts and discovered your channel a few days ago. I wanted to ask where you get your embroidery frame? Most frames in the market are hoops, but I want to try the traditional method, if that makes sense.

There seem to be some stores selling them online, but I don't know if they can be shipped overseas.
There is a way to apply this using frames for art supplies, so I would like to introduce it in a video.

What kind of fabric you use for your embroidery ?
I use silk fabric for Kimono.
