In windows, in the menu to restore equipment with a light blue background, 2 options appear: 1. delete the drive only where windows is installed 2. delete all drives... what happens if I select option 2 of all drives? is the windows image deleted? (or is it in another partition?) I know that in D: there was a OneKeyrecovery folder and a Lenovo folder with restricted access for admin, colored transparent
If I bought my computer with window 7 and upgraded it to window 10,if I use the restore button, will it take me back to window 7 or restore the system to window 10?
@@barman. How you'd you back up the files, if you can't get to the desktop (running recovery off media USB) No recovery has worked and I'm going to have to factory reset but want to move files etc. is it possible?

and have you already got windows 8.1 preinstalled?
Do you lose all data photos files etc if you do that ?
Yes it resets your laptop to factory installion of windows
PS:my window7 was legal and activated, i used the free upgrade option to windows 10 from microsoft

Will it still put windows back on if I put in a new hard drive as my hard drive is broken

It would take you back to the original version, you could then upgrade again.
