The murder of the young man who communicated with his mother every day reminded me of my nieces oldest daughter.
My niece was divorced and her oldest daughter would talk to her father every day. My niece and her daughter lived in Arizona and my nieces ex-husband lived in California. When he did not hear from his daughter after two days, he called my niece and said check on her because she never returned his phone calls.
My niece and her son went to her daughters apartment and discovered her dead. She had been murdered. There is no telling how long she would have been dead in her apartment if she and her father didn’t speak on the phone every day.
It was one of those situations that you think only happens to other people but when it happens to you, you can’t believe it.

I remember the "1 lunatic, 1 icepick" video. It was creepy and awful. Guy was naked and the killer causally would stab him, among other things. The guy (the asian one) seemed to be knocked out or something as he never reacted to what was being done. He was very much alive though as he would bleed.
Whats sad is a relatively easy video compared to some of the other murder videos online that killers recorded. At least back in the day when such videos were easy to find online (especially on accident). To note I watched this video because at the time I didn't know it was real. There had always been a large influx of fake murder videos online.

More info about Luke (icepick killer video). He was sentenced to life, plus 19 years for other crimes. He was also captured because he posted videos of himself killing kittens online. Which is always interesting because it took him killing kittens to get peoples attention more then the murder video. Still, at least he was caught.
To note Eric (killer) had a awful upbringing by an obsessive mom who did some cruel things and he had a dad that was schizophrenic. Though they eventually divorced. Later on in life Eric himself was also diagnosed with schizophrenia. He couldn't seem to hold a job so he became an escort and starred in gay porn videos. He did other things like being a stripper and even was featured as a model in a magazine.
He also was a liar. Porn industry really didn't like him. He also went around creating various social media profiles where he would make big claims about himself. Then he would create other fake accounts and attack himself to drum up sympathy for himself from others.
This all said he did have a record with the police of crime. During the trial the parents of the deceased man passed out when videos and pictures of the murder were shown. Not to mention they showed all the tools he used to torture/murder the guy. Luke claimed some form of insanity and that he wasn't himself when it happened.
Judge called him out on his BS and said it was VERY well planned and premeditated.

21:21 It wouldn't even be that difficult. Bear in mind that chariots were a thing in that region about the same time Stonehenge was being built. That means horses were available and already being trained to pull things. You could do it with manpower alone, but I doubt they'd have ignored the obvious advantage of the horse. Getting the blocks in place even without the pulley system (which came about a thousand years later) would have required some rather time-consuming labor. The most obvious way would be to build dirt ramps, which would be removed after the block was placed.

Mr Ballen did a story about when he switched to attacking married couples based off of a comment made by someone at a neighborhood meeting about the attacks. That man and his wife would be his next victim. But the HBO series "I'll Be Gone in the Dark" is based off of Michelle's book. Her work really contributed to his capture.

Kabir, moving stones in the stone age (source: my friends and husband have done this for fun and a documentary): First, use levers and wedges to place the carved stones on a sledge. Next, pull the stones up onto half timbers laying perpendicular to the sledge (round side up), and cover the timbers in grease. Pull the whole thing with lots of rope and people. Have someone(s) run behind to pull tiber from the back out to place them before the sledge. Rinse and repeat until yoyr stones get where you want them. OR (and ideally) make a sledge, wait for winter, pull the sledge along the snow. Ice is even better for this.
Raising stones: there's a cool but complicated method outlined in a Bern Dibner book called "Raising the Obelisk" that involves sand, but more likely they dug the VERY DEEP hole, dragged the bottom of the stone over to the edge of the hole, and used levers, ropes, manpower, and stacks of timbers to raise the stone, with a separate stack to keep it from wobbling. Pack the hole with smaller stones (from the digging of the henge and creation of the shaped stones) and dirt. Timbers can be removed after all the settling has taken place.
To raise a lintel stone (the top pieces): Between and in front of two standing stones (choose a side; it really doesn't matter which); leaving enough space for a stack of squared timbers, place the lintel stone (note: most lintel stones have either tabs or slots in them to keep them in place once they land, so keep this orientation in mind). Begin using levers, ropes, and manpower to raise the stone, rocking and raising it from side to side, to slip a squared timber under the lifted edge of the lintel. Repeat until the lintel is TALLER than the standing stones. Build a stack abutting the standing stones, just in front of the lintel stone. Use sand or grease on the new stack. Place timber shims on the outer edges of the tops of the standing stones, at the edges of the tabs/slots (whichever your stone has). Have people with ropes on the ground pull the lintel slowly over onto the shims (you'll need a few strong people up top with shims/levers to help move the lintel evenly. Let the lintel settle into position over the tabs/slots, and remove the shims at the sides.
It's a long process, but can be done by people who know what they're doing. It surprises me that in the modern day we think our ancestors didn't know how to figure this out simply because they didn't write down the detailed scematics they used. I'm positive that they had professionals on site for a project this big, much like the Egyptians had for the great Pyramid. It's not like there are no other stone circles, monoliths, and henges in Britain!

  • @MsMorri
    @MsMorri Год назад +4

Stonehenge was probably built by the Picts. They have located where the stone came from. As for how the stones got there, welp, it just too a lot of logs put in front of the other and lots of humans to roll the stones across the logs. I think they also uses boats or rafts of some sort to carry some of the rocks across. And lifts and pully systems have been around for centuries. It's more debatable about what Stonehenge's purpose is, but given that there are similar stone circles around England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, it probably was ritualistic in purpose. There are barrows all around Stonehenge, so probably the statement that it's a holy space/graveyard is likely right. I think it also has the double benefit of being able to track the year. We don't give early humans nearly enough credit.

The suspicion during the assignation of JFK is/was that there were multiple shooters. The umbrella man was assumed to be an additional shooter ,near the grassy knoll, as the “magic bullet” that struck the President traveled oddly thru him and the angle from where Lee Harvey shot from didn’t match up. Another theory was that the umbrella man was indicating or signaling to Lee Harvey for when to fire. FYI.

Getting the stones to Stonehenge would have taken massive effort. Getting the ones on top of the other would have been tedious but not at all difficult compared to the rest. You get your standing stones in place, bring in enough dirt to mound up around everything leaving just the top surfaces exposed, then move your top stones into place. Afterwards you just dig out the dirt again leaving it all exposed.

Wait, the pyramids were built by humans, Stonehenge couldn't have been? Quick research says that the blocks of the Great Pyramid of Giza varied in size, but weigh between 20 to 80 tons. (Or tonnes; I'm not sure if that means the same as US tons.) Stonehenge's stones weigh between 10-30 tonnes. Lots of men, sledges, log rollers, rope seem the likeliest method. When they mentioned 'powerful, they weren't talking about human strength. They were talking of a person or persons of authority, who had the power to order it built and make it actually happen. For over 1,000 years, as there were several iterations of it. Both monuments completely possible for regular humans.

The more I listen to the video that you’re listening to the more I wrong because Dayton Gaska event was most likely a comet…. The voice is familiar for the presenter and they likely just generated this video just to do something. But it fails at a lot of research

The mysteries of Kabir Considers. Are you married? Have you been married? Do you have children? I'm guessing you either had a sister or older brother, who taught you how to groom. Teenage boys don't listen to their parents. You keep yourself well-groomed. I'm guessing for a partner or wife. Also the 2 rooms we've seen are whimsical but not dirty or cluttered. ;)

The problems with videos like this, is the call things fact based on some researchers, but totally disregard all other research. Like the Pyramids, many studies have said there is no way of knowing, 1 research team says they know, and they go with the one who fits the video better. Also as far as the umbrellla man, your telling me a man who was protesting and wanted to be seen, then waited 50 years to say that was him. He could have gotten his protest to be heard about for the last 50 years, but just seemed to have forgotten it was him until everyone else was basically gone.

this is also the case when it comes to the Maya, there have been researchers that have found evidence that argues that the Maya intentionally left the large city, not just because of drought but also because it was easier for people to live and thrive in small group rather then huge cities. The only reason why people thing something must have force the Maya to leave is due to our western bias that all successful civilization have to have huge cities but that is not the case.

My own opinion here: I hypothesize that STONEHENGE had been constructed by GIANTS. Goliath of Gath, was 13 feet tall. A village of giant humans could have accomplished this!

The results of the face on Mars could very well be what they say it is now. Unfortunately the photograph that they presented is actually doctored by NASA. Don’t know why they would do that if they’re trying to show proof. I’d still love to see an independent Cameron go over it with a much higher resolution camera. If for no other reason than curiosity. And to see a photograph not in the hands of NASA. I’m not saying it’s a face but I’m still curious what it looks like without being doctored
