You should use wedding favor bags to cover the blooms so you. Can prevent cross pollination

Great advice...Cross pollination can happen even when spaced apart if the pollinators or wind. Personally I keep it simple. I’d love to experiment more with doing my own cross pollination experiments. How about you? Do you do anything similar?

The moment the stem from the pepper fruit color brown , you pick it for seeds. Then most of the seeds will grow. You pick it to quickly. Even the outer skin will start to show its mature. Begin to wrinkle.😊

Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us, @francoisdebruyn4424! It's important to wait until the pepper fruit's stem turns brown to ensure the seeds are mature enough for proper growth. 🌶️🌱 Keep the gardening tips coming! 🌿👍

Did you end up sowing the saved seeds?
Did the plants produce the fruits you expected?
I want to save my own seeds, but since I have different sweet and hot peppers planted next to each other, I’m afraid they will have cross-pollinated…
