Kind of sucks when a band you like puts out a message you don't fully agree with. Still love these guys and I'm not saying they're wrong because there are a ton of corrupt and just overall shitty people in general that are cops, but to think as any one of them as an enemy is part of the problem of divide we have here. Just my opinion though, kublai khan kicks ass and props to them for speaking their mind.
HxCpaintball I think it is a two part message that can get confused as one. Not every cop is bad. That would be a ridiculous statement to make. Instead its split in two. A lot of cops are bad and there arent enough good cops making a fuss or standing up. The system itself is broken and its hard to feel safe when youre not sure if they are gonna get you or just keep their mouth shut about the other guys getting you.
I dont think every cop is bad. However, cops work in the name of legality, not necessarily morality. Some of them even get the two mixed up.
Being a cop doesnt inherently make you a bad person. But often times cops act against the interests of the people and therefore they are an enemy of the people, in my eyes at least. Though that isnt to say I dont see where you're coming from.
Then again, america is one of the most brainwashed nations on all sides of the political spectrum, so I guess I shouldn't really be surprised that people just default to thinking that certain situations are "black and white", which only fuels the divide. Because here's the biggest problem with our society today, in my eyes.
People generally dont want to understand or know, they just want to be right. So they put "deep" thought into something, come to a conclusion in their mind that would match their views, and then they view their views as objectively true, which is why often times trying to have civil political discussions with people here turns into speaking to a brick wall.

I'll say that not all cops are bad and not all cops are good. The system could use some work. Something that's good though is that Kublai Khan can help create dialogue like this, even in the comments of YT lol
HxCpaintball I used to get harassed by cops all the time. Most likely because I was doing illegal shit. And I got racially profiled all the time. Most likely because I am white and I'm in a black neighborhood going to the store to buy some weed.

As someone who is in the hiring process to becoming a cop, it was really disheartening to hear this, after waiting so long for the album to drop.
BlueLineRipper be a part of the solution and stand against the corruption in the system, im sure kublai khan's members understand not all cops are bad but that is not the point they are making a song to tell off the trigger happy god complexed pricks in the police force.
Be part of the change that helps people see the police in a better light.

I don't entirely agree with the message being presented in this song. It's important to acknowledge the unprofessional and some times more often than we would like criminal behavior of the very people that are supposed to be protecting citizens from criminals. That much I agree with, but to go as far as saying you see every cop as an enemy is a tad bit much.
