- From the vibrant Cathedral Quarter to the breathtaking Cave Hill Country Park and Titanic Belfast to Colin Glen Forest Park, Belfast City is a must-visit for all kinds of travellers.
Northern Ireland's capital city boasts a fantastic array of history, culture, nightlife, and attractions that make it one of the most appealing cities across the UK and Ireland.
Having gained a global reputation as an unsettled city, due to the Troubles, which took hold across Northern Ireland throughout the latter half of the 20th century, Belfast has progressed hugely in the past 20 years to become one of the most exciting cities in the world.
Still, if you want to learn about the city's darker past, you can book yourself onto a Black Cab Tour, which will give you an insight into the troubled history of this now thriving city.
Whether you're looking to explore the historic city centre, check out the modern Titanic Quarter, have a pint in the Cathedral Quarter, or get out into nature on the outskirts of the city, you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to amazing things to see and do in Belfast.
Fly into Belfast International Airport or Belfast City Airport before making your way to the city centre, where you will be greeted by friendly locals, world-class attractions, and iconic pubs.
Planning to spend a weekend in Belfast but don't know where to begin? You're in luck as we round up the top ten best things to do in Belfast.

Good
Thank you for this informative video!
Was there just last week and was fortunate that we got into the George Market - it is the other attraction I would definitely recommend - open only Friday through Sunday. The Black Cab tour was awesome and the Titanic Museum was incredible. What really impressed me was something unexpected - the restaurants in the Cathedral Quarter were just a short walk from our hotel - and WOW! The food was superb as was the drink and desserts. Even something seemingly mundane such as a morning tea and breakfast at Established Coffee on Hill St in the Cathedral Quarter was a wonderful experience with great and friendly service and a nice atmosphere. We absolutely enjoyed our visit there.
You really have to love the Kremlin Road. Pure class. Who knew that Napoleon owned the Cavehill.
Very useful - thank you!
From belfast ♥️
😍😍
Hello, how are you? Thank you for your videos, always very useful!!! I'm going to Belfast for a few days and then Europe. I'd like a tip, do you think you need to have pounds for Belfast or do you have euros in the wise and when you pay (the app converts) it`s possible?
You need to pay in £ in Belfast.A few places take Euro but that's only the super touristy stuff... But pretty much everywhere they will take card, so try to find something with a good Euro to £ conversion rate.
Wee are Small but we Pack a Big Punch 👊 😎... Only critical point 😔..could we make the intro more neutral... North of Ireland / Northern Ireland.. 😂 Maybe even give a little historical context.
