Great story, and I am happy to see you are satisfied. Being a RUclipsr is very similar to running your own business. You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. And when the growth becomes real, you can consider hiring people to help you run your channel more efficiently. The most difficult part is starting and growing of course, but consistency and hard work (with a little bit of help from Fame-ster of course) will always pay off at the end.
They now have an intermediate plan, which raised a doubt for me. "Artist and Artist Pro". Can I distribute an album with several songs on both plans? Or is there some limitation, for example, only distributing two solo songs per month or something like that on the basic plan?
When I click the “complete payout profile” (last step) it just won’t load and shows there’s a error. Or it glitches back to the page where it shows I’ve completed the first 2 steps
Hey how are you. So I just paid for SoundCloud to get paid for my tracks getting listened to and I don't get the Monetization tab when I click on edit. Do you know why?
Bro, it seems like SoundCloud started 2025 on the wrong foot. I've been unable to monetize my tracks for days, and other users are facing the same issue. We've been sending constant emails and tweets, but all we get are automated bot responses like "oh, sorry for the delay" and so on. The most frustrating part is that SoundCloud doesn’t respond to fix the problems, but when it comes to charging artists for subscriptions at the end of the month, they’re right on time.
I would like to ask you, is it worth it for me to buy this subscription to distribute my music? and one more question: is it possible to unlink a bank card so that money is not withdrawn automatically? since I don't understand English I can't watch the video
Is there any difference in setting monetization up if I distribute podcasts instead of music tracks? I see that this paid tier is relatively cheaper than comparable podcast monetization aggregators/hosting services so SoundCloud looks like a very interesting choice for hosting and monetizing podcasts.
What happens if u let SoundCloud monetization control your rights or taxes or do u choose your own label...what is the difference...i heard it's to do with taxes ...the bit where u add irsc code and your label then go to next page to choose countries
Question: With distribution via soundcloud, does soundcloud take a percentage of your earnings? For example, I get 100k streams on youtube or spotify, does soundcloud take like 20% of those earnings?
@@AdrianBarrin Nop, SoundCloud gives you 80% of your earnings from other music stores but gives you 100% from revenues generated ONLY on its platfom. Abd if your tax information isn't completed as a foreigner, they withold 30% of your earnings from their platform
Do you have to do this on the PC because I've tried doing this on the application on my phone after paying for the ability to have monetization and I can't figure out how and they have never gotten back to me about it?
I thought they updated preferred payment method to account direct deposit why is it just PayPal still? Also if your distributor distributes to SoundCloud do you still gotta pay for premiere to see the backend on your SoundCloud account or you get it and all its features for free now?
Hey so if i saw on google that if I make under 400$ on a song I don’t have to pay self employed taxes and I’m js wondering does that mean I only pay the royalties n fees from SoundCloud only and I’m js wondering does that make me like not be worried about the government/irs after me ? Pls respond 😭
Great video, very well explained. One question: I have not monetized my tracks but sometimes people still get ads at the start or end of my tracks, how so?
@@AdrianBarrin yeah, thank you. SoundCloud show ads on tracks without monetization but with monetization on even more ads will appear, if I understand it correctly?
Basically if you do not get a lot of Traffic and you are monetized your not going to make very much money because you need ads to be played before your song to gain revenue nice promotion of sound cloud still though.

Did you complete a w-9 for sound cloud with your ssn?

What can I do to earn money from SoundCloud, while there are no ads on SoundCloud in my country?
Is it possible to monetize remixes or mashups for djs?
No. But you can use those to bring more exposure.
In the distribution part. (17:35) what if I am not on a label? I just have my songs?

Really insightful, thank you! When you apply for monetization, how do I prove copyright of the track? What proof is acceptable?
4:47 ‘eight thousand twenty five cents a month’?
You mean ‘eight hundred twenty five cents’?
Thanks , great advice
My pleasure! Glad it helps

I'd love to know the answer
I have a question that I don´t know the answer yet and it is, can I monetize the music I post in my own channel on youtube?
Once you unlock monetization, .yes
Very helpful.
Glad you think so!
Great video, very well explained. One question: I have not monetized my tracks but sometimes people still get ads at the start or end of my tracks, how so?
The song before your track is monetized, or after. Or maybe SoundCloud still shows ads but don't pay you

Can u do a video on SoundCloud for artist s ...where it shows the prices of your tunes and explain how they're pricing them
What happens if you give SoundCloud your right holders...will they pay less
wait but it costs money to monetize
Yes 🥲
fuckkk
I skip the ads with a glitch
Sharing is caring bro
@ what do you mean
Can you monetize with the free plan
No brother
I connected my paypal and filled out the tax form, yet the website still tells me to add payout info
EDIT: it works now, I just had to wait

If i do a slowed or sped up version of a song with a few edits(not big), would soundcloud monetise that?
What if i don’t want to monetize but I want to get the next pro for just only the unlimited uploads. Somebody pls help I do not want to monetize
just don’t monetize it 😂
@ so it’s just optional ? Cause it says get paid more fairly & I was hoping it’s not mandatory
Why don't you show how to send the money to my bank account.

Great video man, really informative! Could you do one about the distribution feature by any chance?? 🫶🏽☺️
Will look into this for you brother
