The history in that part of Africa was very interesting, it wasn’t taught when I was in school here in US.

Matt, there was no confrontation between Piet Retief and Dingaan. Retief wanted to buy land, Dingaan told him not to bring weapons to the discussion. Dingaan slaughtered Retief and his men and then slaughtered their families. Dingaan then got his ass kicked at Bloed Rivier.
Wow, youtube is good at hiding great content... air guns, varmints, pest control, big game, good stuff! Sometimes it is better to take a step back and enjoy the moment to bring focus, instead of focusing so hard on what we seek we forget why we are out there.

Matt, could you recommend an inexpensive gun rest for pesting? I have one PCP, a Gamo Urban, and pest shoot harassing house sparrows from my three bluebird boxes at 25-35 yards. I am 74 and really need a steady rest to stay on target. You only have the very best equipment which I could no way afford. Your bipod cost more than I paid for my PCP Urban! I would appreciate and advice you could provide. Your videos are the best on RUclips and I never fail to watch them. Thanks and stay safe my friend. 🙏

I love the fact that you all will hon hyena. In my honest opinion they are one of the most evilest animals of all Africa. Yes I understand that what they do is perfectly natural for them. However, they eat their prey alive frequently, and that to me is this peccable so I am very happyThat you all blasted one or more of them thank you great video by the way.

Nice video, Just your info regarding Retief is incorrect, Retief had an agreement with Dingan, Dingan asked him to help him get back he's cattle that were apparently stolen by the Ndebeles, Retief took he's men and got the cattle back for Dingan. On returning with the cattle Retief realised that Dingan have lied to him. The cattle did not belong to Dinga. They had an argument and ended in Dingan Killing them
