- In this huge scrub review, I try a bunch of popular scrub brands and give my honest thoughts! I bought all of these scrubs with my own money and I give my 100% unfiltered opinion on if these are flattering, stretchy, if it runs true to size, and more important information. As a dental student I wear scrubs every day so I am definitely experienced in trying out scrubs.

my torso is so short, so i look like an idiot when i do it, but i love when athletic builds do it! so cute.
It definitely took me a couple returns to figure out the right size for me with the jaanuu scrubs! But when I did and found those yoga pants scrubs they are a dream! I got the flared ones and the straight leg yoga pants. I'm an RN and they are stretchy enough. Definitely a life saver when I have to bend down or over to help patients!!

I’m an ER nurse and an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner and I’m 5’1” with very thick and muscular thigh... the width and length is always a constant struggle! Lately joggers are my favorite because they’re the only ones that don’t drag on the floor and leave enough room for the butt and booty when I get a small so I don’t have to size up lol
yess joggers have been the most friendly for the booty! lol

All of these are amazing and I truly appreciate your honesty. I know that your channel is fitness centred but can you please please make a very detailed playlist about dental school. What I mean is (pre dental track, very thorough DAT tips and tricks and study materials, application process, personal statement advice, interview advice, and dental vlogs) i searched all of RUclips and there is literally under 20 people and I haven’t found someone who genuinely helped. I’m sure a lot of people agree with me so please consider it.

So with you on the thick calves!!! The struggle is real! Jaanu was just awful on me too, and I really liked the blush color that I got but had to send them back. The Cherokee iFlex is an amazing affordable brand and even tho the top is a fit and flare it’s actually very firm fitting and flattering. Shout out to my fellow Medical Laboratory Scientists!

I've been waiting for this one! I also have an athletic build with a smaller waist and thicker thighs. I have figs skinny scrubs pants rn and they just aren't it. Not high waisted enough for me and it felt like my thighs were busting out. I really like the mims scrubs but we can't wear joggers for my nursing program.

Definitely recommend trying on gray's anatomy before buying if you can. I got a small top and it was extremely tight so the next one I got a medium in a different style and it's very lose :(
Those Cherokee workwear scrubs I have 5 sets of them and they were my absolute favorites working in the hospital. I have one with that mock wrap and I don't think it looks bad on me because my chest is more flat. I think they get less shiny with wash and wear but mine are all in darker colors. I was also convinced that they changed the sizing on the pants because when I went to get more pairs the pants were suddenly too big but the next size down was almost too tight so for some reason I thought getting short pants fixed the problem. It didn't and now I just have some really short pants.
My favorite is Greys Anatomy and MedCouture scrubs . The material quality is unbeatable and I’m petite so it’s awesome that they have different sizes so I don’t have to worry about hemming the pants. By the way you are body goals . I’m back at the gym and can’t wait to see results.

Try the Cherokee Form Tapered Leg Cargo Scrub Pants & the Curved Hem V-Neck Top! They are insanely comfortable! I would just recommend sizing down in the pants because they are very stretchy lol

Heartsoul joggers are my favorite, I haven't tried their tops yet. I also like maevn from uniform advantage online, again haven't tried the tops. Healing hands brand usually has better stretch because they're made for massage therapists. All super affordable. I also tuck in my tops and have no use for those dumb pockets on the bottom! And getting in and out of scrub tops is the worst, I have pretty broad shoulders along with a bum and big calves.
Ive heard about these brands!! Ill definitely have to do another scrub review to try these! and agreed- they are so hard to get on!!

ADAR and Wonderwink are my affordable brands of choice. They fit nicely on my curvy figure and I have no complaints in length and I’m a 5’9 with a 33” inseam 😌

I can attest that the Jaanuu 4 pocket scrub top is sweat wicking! I got their 10 pocket joggers made of the same material and that stretch for bottoms is a dream 🥰

You should try the 10-pocket jogger from Jaanuu! Perfect for people who lift. It's literally the only pants I like from them, but that being said, they are the best scrub pants off all brands.
I feel like you could come out with a killer scrub brand with high-rise, stretch options.
I usually wear figs or helping hands, but I just bought some Mediclo scrubs, they feel great. I hope stand the test of time.
very late to this, but this review was really helpful! i’ve worked in a few different healthcare industries but i’m moving into vet med as i’m starting grad school as it’s more time flexible, so time to order new scrubs! i’ve been wearing heartsoul for a few years now and i think they’re more “budget” and i really like them. at my last job, like 3 of us wore them. i like the jogger pants but was wearing xxs until i started a new medication and gained 20# 🙄. so now they’re just like skin tight and the waste doesn’t tighten enough with the draw string and they fall down. so i just ordered some figs because everybody raves about them. i wasn’t convinced but you seem to review them much higher than all of these options, so i’m optimistic!
Didn’t realize Greys Anatomy was even a scrub brand til I randomly went to a Salvation Army/Sally Ann store in Tillsonburg Ont of all places with a friend and found a top by them for $4. Fits great and now I want more, lol for $4
You should try Carhartt! They might not be super duper cute, but their scrub pants have either 6% or 10% spandex. Plus the tall inseam is 34 inches
I love my scrubs tucked in. I’m a vet assistant and with all the restraining and moving I do my scrubs never stay tucked for longer than 5 minutes 😂

As a LTC I love shirt pockets haha and baggier scrubs but def need high waisted and stretchy! Heartsoul jogger scrubs are my jam!
For affordable scrubs Adar is a good brand to try. Found them on Amazon, some of there styles are actually stretchy.

About to start clinicals in July I needed this because the only scrubs I knew existed were figs and I was tired of breaking my pockets for em.

as a nurse we use those pocket straps for scissors and pens and hemostats or pen light
If you do a budget scrub review I would be interested in Koi brand. I love my figs but my budget doesn't!
Checkout Koi and Maevn as more affordable options! I love my koi and wanted to get the new jogger style of maevn, but they were always out of stock in the store. Very lightweight for both!

Wal-Mart makes some stretchy scrubs that are long enough for me 5'8" . You may also like barco one stretch joggers - super stretchy and come in talls.

Best Scrub for Petites.... Purple Label "Yoga" style by Healing Hands!! Searched a ton of reviews and these were unanimously mentioned. I've worn them now for 3 years and still LOVE them!! They have held up incredibly and dont wrinkle! ( Im.5'0, fluctuate between 115-130 lbs)
I am watching this for the 4th time. I'm still deciding what scrubs to get. I've bought those Adar pro from Amazon...They are okay as a back up. Carhart!? I don't like the bottoms. I love my medcouture... Probably going to get Mandala. Uniform advantage.

I kept getting Instagram ads for Mandala scrubs. I ordered a set to try out and immediately ordered three more sets! I sized up in the joggers to have room in the butt and thighs. They’re so good!

I had to lol when you tried on Jaanuu essential relaxed pant, ONLY because I feel you! I am only 5’2 but I also wear a small with larger calf’s… I even used to have a hard time finding tall boots, “thank God for booties”. One time my husband almost had to cut a pair of tall boots off of me in a store because we could not get them unzipped🤦🏼♀️Which was really my fault, I should have known they weren’t coming off after the zipping up ordeal. 😂 Anyways great review!!!

You have to try BeneFIT scrubs. So stretchy and the tops are nice and fitted. I have yet to find anything to beat them.

I work in a hospital and had trouble finding scrubs that fit my thick thighs and booty. I highly recommend the Cherokee iflex pull on pant. They're mid rise and super comfortable. The matching tops are pretty nice too.

I ordered jaanuu masks which were pretty pricey and they’re so tight. I don’t have a large face but the elastic loops are so tight. For the price, they should have been adjustable. Anyway, seems to track with their scrub sizing lol.

lol. as a "stick thin" leg type.. i have a really difficult time finding any scub that fits.. top and bottom. everything i've found is so ill fitting or baggy.
I think the scrunch in the back is for space when you reach forward or if you have a larger bust
I’m in the process of moving from gensurg/IMCU to PACU and I have thoughts on the tucking in. I think it depends on where you are working. For infection control purposes we aren’t allowed to have much supplies in rooms so in those environments you NEED to use your pockets - which makes tucking impractical. In the PACU environment (and to a lesser extent a well stocked IMCU environment) your supplies tend to be closer to the patient area, so pockets are less essential.
I didn’t really see people tucking scrubs until I did some shadow shifts in PACU and it seems like many ppl tuck there. There have been more people tucking on the floor lately (I think because of the figs models doing it) - where I work those nurses usually use a little lululemon pack to make up for the lack of pockets.
Yeah I just personally prefer to tuck because I’m a dentist and don’t need the pockets!

The Grey's Anatomy & The Jaanu in burgandy look nice . They look nicely fitted & yet still "loose" and can move around it. Do you prefer any of these over Figs ?. Btw..looks nice untucked but it's fine tucked. The non fitted ones ( like Mims) definitely better when tucked. thx
I love tucking in my scrubs also because it gives me a nice snatch to my waist! Otherwise I’d look bigger than I am 😊

Omg please please please find me the perfect stretchy breathable scrubs! Uniform advantage easy stretch is my current favorite pair for when I’m going to be outside and sweaty. It’s a a nice breathable fabric with 4 way stretch, one pocket tops, but crappy pant styles (I’m weird and NEED back pockets). I know the movement and lauderdale styles are also 4 way stretch and they all range from 6-8% spandex so they’re on my list to try too!
Oh! And wonderwink aero is also a comfy favorite, only 4% spandex but a more relaxed fit. I reach for my black joggers even on days off (plus the iridescent zipper pull tabs and holographic labels still look brand new despite tons of washes)

I was so disappointed with the Jannuu joggers as well. I bought them couple years ago and i am super skinny but still haven’t found them comfortable they are so tight around the calf/ankle area.. Also idk if you know this but Figs have high waisted joggers scrubs and they are my all time favorite!

I have been a hygienist since 2004 and its sad that the scrub pants have not really improved for those with thicker thighs and butt, but small waists. I thought you were very accurate in your distaste for many of the scrub brands that refuse to cut pants for anyone that is not shaped like a tube
