I met one of the most inspiring girls in the world. Zamandol - 15 year old Eagle Huntress. One of the only 10 in Mongolia. I wish I filmed more of her and got to know her story but honestly, I was so struck that I didn't. Needless to say...ENJOY this episode. Let me know what you think :)

Apart from beauty of this country we see People living without the need for the latest gadget or a fashion item to make themselves feel happier and generally owning much less stuff. People not polluting the nature with chemicals and waste. People not making millions of $ per minute. People who probably are happier and don’t experience anxiety and depression bc they are part of nature and not above it.

I am a Mongolian girl. thank you for filming our nomadic lifestyle, really appreciate that. the video was amazing I liked. to be honest, I don't know pretty much about our nomadic life as I am a city girl who born and grown in the capital city of Mongolia. there are 2 different lifestyles between nomadic and city especially for now.

@@louisphilips6169 Hey man. I just checked out your channel and now I'm kinda irritated by your arrogance (thanks to you). Do you not research (even a little) or study the country that you are traveling in or going to? I mean I'm just trying to wrap my head around your thought process here. Didn't you realize you were in China while you were shooting the videos that you are titling "Mongolia"? I mean come on man, you were denying the fact that there is an actual country named Mongolia that is not part of China. I mean the way you are claiming it sounds almost like you don't even have a clue about it. How can you be so arrogant?

    • @louisphilips6169

Saikhanaa Z I'm sorry you feel this way... and I just checked ur channel and if ur pic right there is u and ur name is ur real name then u should thank me because I have a a feeling that u are Mongolian. First of all I love history, second I'm so proud of Mongolian history and what Genghis Khan has achieved. China stole some of my country's island a hundred years from now those island will be theirs if we don't do something about it... same as Inner Mongolia.. It is Mongolia have u done research about it? The Mongolian chinese are being killed out there, the Chinese are taking away their culture.. the Mongolian chinese children are not allowed to learn their mother tongue... a hundred years from now nobody will know that Inner Mongolia is really a part of Mongolia... the Chinese government is making so much money using the name of Mongolia, Genghis Khan etc..this is how I fight for the Mongolian people... I say free the Mongolian people and give back their land to them. Are u doing something to help ur people? If u are Mongolian please help me free ur people...

Simply wonderful! You are so very correct that many people don't understand where their food comes from. It bothers me to no end when you see our lawmakers say things like, "Why do we need farmers? I can just go to the store and get my food". I was blessed to have been raised in a rural area by a farmer (my Grandfather) and experienced the full circle of life and seasons of growth that we depend on for life. Thank you for sharing this experience with us! This is great!

@@SorelleAmore it is quite besetting that people will live their entire life so sheltered that they really don't know where their food comes from and then go into public office to make laws for everyone to abide by. A lot of these herders have to send their kids away to school for boarding houses or to live with relatives or one of the parents have to move to the city with them. That is an authentic trip and experience. There are around 700,000 people living in Mongolia in similar conditions. The situation is various depends on the region. Some people are closer to the city and village and a mix of the modern and nomadic traditional ways of living. Some are completely remote and living on their animals. But still, they have satellite dishes and solar panels and battery run TV. The nomadic people are not necessarily poor and some have thousands of animals and can trade into cash easily. Goat is profitable nowadays due to the cashmere price. Some chose to stay nomadic and some decided to move into cities. More and more nomads are moving to villages to send their children to school. We don't know when we will have very last nomads in the wilderness. I assume many more years.

Thank you for the reminder to be in love with nature, Sorelle. I keep finding myself wanting to escape even further away from the city (I live in a pretty sleepy borough super close to a national park and several forests) and be near a lake and forests without the stressors of the big city. Although Lithuania, even in the capital, is pretty connected to nature ;)
Otherwise, thank you for sharing such beauty and reminding people of the beauty of nature. I think inherently we all know this, just tend to forget in our fast-paced world of different priorities
